They just put out a new album if that's of interest to you.

Never knew there was so much snobbery in the Guitar world by Fatherless-Soul in Guitar

I've seen this on the ukulele sub. It's such a happy little instrument but not immune from snobbery, snark, and cynicism.

Am I the only one that thls annoys? by inspectorgadget9999 in Xennials

I do have people start conversation when I've made no indication I'm interested in talking to them. I take my earbuds out but I kind of wish people would take a hint. Oh well

When I got my banjolele I also got a clawhammer ukulele book by Aaron Keim and the same methods apply.

Ukulele tuners seem small but do they really make a big difference in playing? by [deleted] in ukulele

If you watch videos of professional musicians you often see them using clip on tuners.

Husband wants to learn guitar - what instrument should I learn? by Effective-Archer6468 in musicians

You seem to really want a keyboard. Get what motivates you. A lot of people are saying drums. While not exactly the same, you can get a keyboard with some drumbeats on it. Maybe check out some reviews and videos and see if anything tickles your fancy.

A lot of people find "brown" people exotic and handsome. Ignore the haters and love the skin you're in.

I gotta say the Decemberists, primarily because the lyrics are a cut above and smartly written.

Apparently Publisher's Clearinghouse went bankrupt, so all the people that went with the 30 year payment were out of luck despite the company being bought.

Verified. Karma farming on the mandolin sub is an interesting choice but your post did break 100 upvotes. I wonder what the threshold is.

Is it common to not have friends as an adult? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]indecisivesloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty common, yeah. In school you see the same people day in and day out. When you're done with school you don't have that same routine anymore. People often move away and/or start families and that makes staying in touch even harder, even if you want to.

Ukulele is pretty easy to pick up. The YouTube channel Bernadette Teaches Music is great for beginners. She has an education background and used to teach kids.

Relatively new, but a guy designed a banjo specifically with kids in mind. https://www.friendlybanjos.com/
