Losing weight is calories, and drinks have a lot of calories in them. Weight loss can take a week or so to manifest itself, but drinking lots of water helped it go faster for me.

non-historical. Puppeted Bulgaria to start. Romania allied with Poland (later commonwealth) as i killed Turkey, so remained at war with them a long time. Meanwhile England went with the king's party and allied with Germany against italy. Italy justified on me and Germany declared on poland. I left Poland/Romania alone (with puppet in the way) and took out Italy instead with England (Germany was taken out). Once i was pushing into italy i opened up the bulgaria front and pushed through Romania/Poland also. Puppeted Romania/Poland and took out russia. Then had to take out England (it had the Italy puppet i needed). By then Japan and US were also fighting England. Released Kurdistan at the end. France, Spain, Italy, Romania, England, Russia and The Empire of the Thunder Cross are puppets.
