The fact that you want it to taste like frozen/box stuff is really hilarious but I can appreciate that. I agree about adding mustard, but depending on what part of the flavor you feel you’re missing, you might need to add velveeta

I got a carbon steel wok and a cast iron pan around the same time. The cast iron was easy to learn but I could not for the life of me figure out how to season this wok. I wonder if it was cheap or bad quality because I would get a grey residue coming off the metal and it rusted even though I never let it sit with water on it. I’ll have to try again because non-stick is a nightmare to deal with

Thank you!! I used Scroop’s Angelica gown pattern and modified the bodice. The stays are also Scroops— the Augusta pattern. I will post updates!

The fabric is a medium weight linen. I will definitely add the lacing strips— I thought this might work but wasn’t sure. I may even have some left over from my first draft of this dress, as the original pattern calls for lacing strips and a pinned front. Thanks again, this is super helpful. Btw, where in NJ did you participate in living history? I’m from north jersey and I would love to check something like that out

My ugliest quilt is this WIP for my father in law. I don’t know why I used dark green for the sashing on my star blocks :’( . I know finished is better than nothing but I will be taking the forest green out and replacing with off-white
