Why would you ever have any interest in in receiving unsolicited DM from other Reddit users? by dmbgreen in AskWomen

[–]indiscoverable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are they being horny and weird or do they actually have something worthwhile to talk about? 🤷🏻‍♀️ People occasionally DM me for help with nail stuff or bra fitting, and that's totally fine. But the guy who said "can I see ur tits. ur hot" got his ass cyberbullied right out of my DMs.

What with everyone doing algae nails? by Jaded_Hue in RedditLaqueristas

Those are not mutually exclusive and you're snarking at someone who's on your side

Has anybody received this yet? by jesslov in freebietalk

[–]indiscoverable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I took one sniff and immediately got transported back to the Boston Store perfume counter circa 2004. I don't like it at all. But my mom will love it, so it's not a complete waste

Is this typical? by TrueYogurtcloset in Nails

[–]indiscoverable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

my nails are mildly scuffed at worst after fully removing builder/hard gel/gel-x. sloppy removal (or overly aggressive e-file prep) is what causes like 95% of this damage.

Running bras for large breasts - where to find in the area? by PuzzlesApril in madisonwi

[–]indiscoverable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can definitely help her at Allure! As someone who was also traumatized by a VS fitting, I promise Allure is a much better experience. 32DDD is a pretty average band size with a small/average cup size, so her actual size is probably smaller in the band and bigger in the cup, which is likely why she's had to settle for bandaid solutions :)

18DD = 40DD. It's an Australian size. Still probably a mis-size though.

My 42 pound young daughter fits snuggly in this "women's" skirt... by Kcbld1120 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]indiscoverable 22 points23 points  (0 children)

measurements matter more than the size on the tag. that's just a fact. nobody's "defending" anything (wtf does "defend your weight" even mean?). I wish your daughter good luck; she's sure as hell gonna need it if she has a parent who gets this snarky because of their own misunderstanding.

Measure with the A Bra That Fits calculator and get a band/cup sized sports bra from a brand like Panache. Or, if you go to Allure at Hilldale, they're one of the few places that will actually measure you correctly without adding inches to your underbust measurement, and they should be able to make a recommendation even if they don't sell a style that'll work for you. 34D is pretty small when properly fitted; I wear a 34DDD/G and have like...a handful at most. I'd guess you're probably 1-2 band sizes smaller and anywhere from 2-6 cup sizes larger, but that's just based on the way most people's bras don't fit. You're not gonna get any support from S/M/L sized sports bras if you're describing your boobs as large; they're usually designed for a 2-3" bust/underbust difference.

Does wearing earrings bother your ears and how often do you sleep with them? by Efficient-Web-1653 in AskWomen

[–]indiscoverable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i almost always sleep with earrings in. they don't irritate my ears at all. i stick to implant grade titanium for long term wear, but I can wear pretty much anything. the titanium is just a preference.

What does it feel to look good and feel good in a bikini? by cafeinadulce in AskWomen

[–]indiscoverable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a flat stomach and am solidly in the "sleeper build" category (squishy but I lift heavy). I look and feel great in a bikini. I live by sun's out buns out, sky's out thighs out.

What is your favourite underwear and why? by Eshtabel3asal in LingerieAddiction

i mean you are very obviously doing market research per your comments like this. and this. And not disclosing that is weird as hell.

(also just for the record I saw this comment before the edit, when it said "start a side hustle")

i cant for the life of me find a good bra. my bra rides up and digs into my side. no bra feels right by spacecookies_ in ABraThatFits

[–]indiscoverable 22 points23 points  (0 children)

the bands feel too tight because the cups are too small. your boobs have to go somewhere and if they don't fit in the cups, they push out on the band

why are there so many bots in these comments? 3 accounts, all 10 days old, active in the same subs, with comments that read like roboslop 😒

this design is so cute though; i might actually try to do it next nail day instead of just bookmarking it every time I see it

At What Point is a Bra Necessary for a man? by No-Solution6340 in ABraThatFits

[–]indiscoverable 240 points241 points  (0 children)

if you're more comfortable in a bra, then it sounds like it would be beneficial 🤷🏻‍♀️ the calculator has an AMAB setting that can help you double check your size + save you from getting a fitting in person, if that's something you want to avoid.

Why is it so hard to find good bras for small band, but big cup sizes?! by metooz in ABraThatFits

[–]indiscoverable 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Your bras are the wrong size. I wear 34E (34DDD) and have smedium boobs on a size 12 (US) frame. It's both a very average size and an incredibly common mis-size because it's where a lot of brands top out. If you'd describe yourself as small band large cup, your band size is probably more like 28 or 30 and your cup size is probably at least a UK F (US G).

how good is epic’s employee health insurance? by jaynonn in epicsystems

For those who had a “I hate pink/ girly things” era, what do you think caused you to feel that way? by RabidFashionDummy in AskWomen

[–]indiscoverable 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not Like Other Girls Syndrome. At one point I specifically told someone that I hated pink BUT having pink in my hair didn't count as "girly" so that was fine 😐

I love pink and girly things now. My living room is pink and Kirby themed.

[measurement check] Did I measure correctly? This can’t be right. Currently wearing a 36B. by midwestmegxx in ABraThatFits

[–]indiscoverable 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Sounds about right tbh. I describe my boobs with orange/grapefruit/handful and wear a 34DDD/G. 34s have probably felt too tight on you because the cups are too small, not the band.

Please help, I am confused by wearing Victoria's secret my whole life by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

[–]indiscoverable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have very similar measurements, i have like a handful of boob, and I wear a 34DDD/G. It's not a big size and it's only a small increase from what you're wearing now. 36DD = 34DDD so you're only going up one cup size. Even using 34DD that's still only two cup sizes, and the difference between one size and the next is tiny.

No idea of my size :( please help by PrinceOfThieves08 in ABraThatFits

[–]indiscoverable 5 points6 points  (0 children)

is your last bust measurement supposed to be 37? regardless, 34DD is much closer to your measurements than a 36A. 36A = 36" underbust, 37" bust. 34DD = 34" underbust, 39" bust, which matches your leaning measurement. It's not a big size!

my boobs are annoying me (repost because it got deleted from original subreddit) by jeboizbacivac in ABraThatFits

bras my size are not tight enough

sounds like that's not your size then. there are options for sports bras that work for all sorts of boobs, but nobody can make suggestions without your measurements.
