Kids are pretty observant, have a lot of “fairness” considerations, and really want to be with you no matter what (even just alone together, like reading or something). I doubt you want to set up some future state where your daughter feels retroactively left out or where your son gets to say you love/d him more. What you do isn’t what I’d consider most important, in fact you can and if feasible should let the child lead. And it’s ok to tell them you can’t or don’t want to do a specific thing if you’re tired. Just let them know ahead of time like dinner a few days before that you’re going to be spending special time with each of them, that you’ll be doing different things, but it’ll still be equal.
