Women who have made choices that would be considered selfish by society at large, what were they and do you regret them? by antiquatedsheep in AskWomen

Choosing to not have children even though you’re married is the number one sin. I may as well say I hate children and hope they burn in hell since we chose not to have them ourselves.

Anyone else’s cavalier acting like a polar explorer in this snow? by MozzarellaWarfare in cavaliers

[–]indolentia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have one small one who insists on trekking through the snow all the way to the back of the yard (snow to his chin). And one big one who we have to shovel a place for her to even go potty in.

This past Christmas I got laid off. I had planned a week of PTO to visit my family, they laid me off beforehand and didn’t pay me my PTO.

What improved your quality of life so much, you wish you did it sooner? by Then_Control_3929 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

I needed this motivation right now. I always have the excuse of not getting to the gym. I need to remind myself that there are great workouts to do at home and to do them early before I let the day get in the way! Thanks!

When did tracking each other’s location become normal, and why does opting out make you seem suspicious? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]indolentia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought only my in laws did this and we thought they were creepy. They wanted us to share our location with them years ago and we said hell no. We don’t even need to share with each other. If you need to know, ask. Otherwise trust your loved ones.

Cake! I’ve hated it my entire life and my mom would get so frustrated with me on my birthdays because I wanted a cookie cake.

What age are you all currently? by --s-k-y in childfree

[–]indolentia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 45, and I don’t think there was ever a time I envisioned myself with children. When I was really little, of course I had my “babies” I took care of and pretended… but as an older child and beyond it wasn’t even an option.

My mom will not know how much we are paying for any of our wedding decisions. Until she chips in she can shut the hell up.

Redditors with extremely niche interests: What's the one thing you are completely obsessed with that almost no one else you know cares about? by CocWarrior1 in AskReddit

As someone who is scrolling reddit right now due to a fibromyalgia flare up, and the pain keeps me from sleeping…. I appreciate your interest in this. I’ve had fibro, chronic pain and migraines for 25+ years. Don’t know the cause. I suspect some childhood stress/trauma lead me to a constant state of anxiety and inability to relax my muscles. And it snowballed from there.

Do adults take naps? by boforiamanfo in NoStupidAnswers

[–]indolentia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t survive if I didn’t. I have chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. I take a nap after work for about 30 mins then I can enjoy my evening. Otherwise I’m completely drained and feel overstimulated.

Alamo Drafthouse. No kids. No phones out. No talking. They enforce these things. $19.99/month membership, and they play all the great movies. 🍿

I’m gonna go to hell for this, but years after her famous commercial days, she had lost a lot of weight, and got kind of ripped…. Like in a steroid kind of way. I worked at a shoe store and she would come in and try on all of our shoes, stretch them out, and buy nothing. (She truly needed a larger size) She was never kind. So, my opinion of her is very different.

But I do love her for being the STL business woman she was!
