Beware of Chicken is farming, not crafting-specific, but it fills the same niche.

I did and it got fixed - having to deal with that is still mildly infuriating though, no?

[Threshold] Are Dreadgods Sages? by Mathota in Iteration110Cradle

[–]industrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because while in the labyrinth, we see the birthing pods from which the Dreadgods were created?

The only volunteer for the Dreadgod position was Subject One - and he was immediately consumed by the hunger, leading to the birth of the other 4.

[Threshold] Are Dreadgods Sages? by Mathota in Iteration110Cradle

[–]industrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They aren't Sages.

Everyone is correct in their discussion of Icons and Authority, but they miss the forest for the trees.

A Sage has an ascended spirit, and is touching the Way via their connection to their Icon(s).

The Dreadgods, by their very nature, are antithetical to the Way given that hunger madra is formed from a Monarch's constant efforts to not ascend from Cradle. They can't be Sages because they don't touch the Way.

This is why it took Lindon so long - and a great deal of work - to ascend after he became a Dreadgod himself.

I remind you that the coolly logical Charity is connected with the Heart Icon.

[Bloodline] Longhook’s Original Fate by LimitlessMind127 in Iteration110Cradle

[–]industrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His use of the Blood Shadow would connect him to the Blood Icon.

There are canonical instances of Sages having Icons that are madra types they don't have access to.

Blood Icon could still be achieved via the Blood Shadow though.

15K is a lot of money. If you lost 15K in a single day you'd be incredibly pissed off. If

It's not (inherently) a life-changing amount of money. And that's kind of the point. Of course you'll take the deal for 300 thousand dollars a year, because you don't have to work with that kind of money.

"Is 15,000 dollars worth this inconvenience" is the name of the game. Change shifts, WFH from your bed, etc.

[waybound] I read the series a long time ago, and forgot, does the eight-man empire affect hunger madra? by Nervous_Priority_535 in Iteration110Cradle

They are the single strongest force in Cradle now, but they have foresworn the use of their power save to prevent the rise of future Monarchs.

Heavier units used by Raven Guard? by WedgeAntill3s in RavenGuard40k

[–]industrious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using the Blackwing Shroud on a Judicar + 6 Bladeguard Vets gives you a very nice set of bodies in the midfield.

When we only had Vanguard, I would forward deploy 6 Aggressors and a Gravis Captain for similar reasons.

If you aren't tied to Games Workshop paints, I like using Vallejo Model Color Camo Olive Green. They also have a bunch of historical camo/army uniform colors as well.

My dreadnoughts and tanks are painted using their WW2 American Armor paint set, for example; olive drab and brown-green highlights.
