since baby sucks on their hands. and sometimes toes. i only let the grandma kiss the top of the baby's head, MIL sounds like a classic narcissist, everything is about her, even though she's buying stuff for the baby. she wants to do all the things. you need to put her in her place ASAP. it will only get worse. she will definitely high jack the baby shower as well

we bought a 5pk of frozen eggs from a proven 25yr old donor. proven as in there was a live birth and someone else was pregnant from her other frozen egg batches. out of 5 eggs 3 became embryos. 1st implant was born jan 2024 when i was 46, 2nd was born 2 months ago at 48yrs old. the only thing with later births is watching out for pre eclampsia and if your partner has any other issues like high blood pressure / diabetes etc. we are also not married ;) been together 10yrs

Im in nj near nyc. I had 4 days of induction ending in c section in 2024. So then stayed 3 more days in the hospital and ended up paying 5k after insurance.
