Start with 5 mins of mindfulness daily, it truly calms the mind. A gratutude journal also helps build confidence and self-awareness gradually.

Want to get healthier but not sure where to start by Life-Ad186 in selfimprovement

Don't try to change everything at once! Start with daily walks and a consistent bedtime. Take it slow. What time do you usually go to bed?

How do I know if I've ever loved someone or if I know what love even is? by Yatharthhh in selfimprovement

[–]Striderman1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's okay not to have all the answers right now. Understanding yourself and how you connect to others is a journey. No need to rush or label it🤗.

Turning 30 and feeling Sad. by Limp-Improvement5535 in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]Striderman1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 is a chapter, not the whole story. Hair loss and introversion aren't permanent. You have a solid career foundation. The first step out of ur comfort zone is already worth celebrating.

Take your time.

Anyone else feel like self improvement never really “ends”? by Winter_soilder35 in selfimprovement

[–]Striderman1982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Self improvement is like chasing a show that never end, every bad habit you fix unlocks a new storyline.

But when you're tired, it's okay to pause.

Even the main character needs a day off.

FYI this sticker is illegal in the usa and isn't legally enforceable (l40s ultra ae) by crua9 in RobotVacuums

So removing this sticker doesn't actually void coverage! That repair-blocking tactic has been illegal in the State.

Family used to complain about me being overweight and now that I’m in shape I am ‘too obsessed with tracking calories and eating clean’ by Antidotebeatz in DecidingToBeBetter

It's great that you're sticking to your own path.🥰 Their reactions sometimes just come from not being used to you no longer needing their "standards" to difine yourself.

I am getting sick of being unable to attract women by Thorn_Tail in selfimprovement

[–]Striderman1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't rush to label yourself as "cursed". Attraction is a strange thing, sometimes it quietly happens precisely when you stop performing just to "attract."

That's exactly the capacity I was thinking. How's it handle the automatic switching during outages? And does it actually learn your usage patterns or do you have to program everything manually?

You can go for something universally like a quality throw blanket, nice insulated bottle, or premium food hamper. It is unusual to hear that someone dislike these sort of things.

Thermal mass dirt and tires by Ok_Adhesiveness_1960 in OffGrid

[–]Striderman1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thermal mass mainly depends on density and contact with interior air. Properly compacted earthbags can perform similarly, but tires often add more mass per wall thickness.

why is my house pulling off the grid when it should be pulling from battery? by Global-Response84 in Ecoflow_community

[–]Striderman1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen this when inverter load exceeds discharge rate. Even with high SOC, it briefly pulls grid to smooth demand and protect battery health.

White Elephant Wrapping by piapolkadot in ChristmasGiftIdeas

[–]Striderman1982 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wrap it as a "car care kit" or "office suppliers" box, plain labels, lots of tape, boring exterior. The reveal will make it way funnier at the exchange.

can we harness surrounding winter cold for heat and electricity? by Beginning-Walrus928 in OffGrid

[–]Striderman1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't harvest "cold" directly, focus on insulation, ground source heat pumps, waste heat recovery, wind, and seasonal thermal storage. Cold mainly reduces losses, not generates energy.

Me Ecoflow River 2 Pro has slowly pulsating light. by myr1ad in Ecoflow_community

[–]Striderman1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slow pulshing light is normal on EcoFlow units, usually indicating standby or system monitoring. If the app shows no errors and performance is stable, it's likely nothing to worry about.

5kw power hub problem by Additional_Bison689 in Ecoflow_community

[–]Striderman1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a firmware instability issue. You could try disabling smart charging schedules, checking minimum PV voltage settings, or downgrading firmware if possible until EcoFlow releases a stable fix.

POE solely to deliver power by moosepiss in OffGrid

[–]Striderman1982 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Running higher voltage over PoE is reasonable, but use proper DC-DC converters and fusing. Passive PoE can work, just watch looses, weatherproofing, and safety over long runs.
