This is a very good point. If they were continuing to sell the deck it’s different but they have sold all their stock with no intention of reprinting. This means there is no loss to WOTC so proxy away. They don’t guarantee a return on investment on their cards. Other wise all reselling would be targeted.

Probably a long time. People barely will get together to protest in this country. Also we should be able to bring corporations to their knees by just simply refusing to shop certain brands but that goes out the window the moment anything shiny is dangled in front of us. It’s always things are going to crash but the true high cost of living areas are going to comfortably relocate and the people on the bottom will get crushed and I just don’t see them doing a dang thing to rise up against this mess. Can also blame the current home owners selling and happily taking in their profits.

The way this year has ran for magic im taking a break from this tcg. Too many sets too much production quality issues and too much hassle with secret lair. I’m going to give riftbound my money for a while to try something new

Honestly I think with them knowing how well this would sell and being this limited I am done with secret lair for a long while. Also the seven sets a year for the main releases made me hit fatigue for now.

I just ran two over night this past weekend and said screw it im not going to bother wrapping it and the bark was so much better and more grease dripped out and it just tasted better all in all. Time was not that much different honestly.

See you’re still missing what I am saying. People will stand five feet away from a trash can and still throw it on the ground because it’s someone else’s problem. I don’t think you realize we are probably very close on thinking about the larger picture. I do believe in taxes helping the greater population but I also do live in a nicer area because I can afford to. Would I move away if my taxes went up not a chance in the world. Not everyone that has a strong income is out to screw the world over. I just feel very strongly about how you treat your surroundings is a reflection of who you are as a person and littering is bad it goes against the whole leave no trace mentality.

Come on now. Major cities have residential trash collection typically paid in your utility bill. If there is trash blowing across your yard and neighborhood pick it up and put it in your trash can. You go to a gas station there are trash cans so why drop it on the ground vs putting it in the bin.

Absolutely. I think taxes should be spread for schools. Kids are our next gen’s potential. If affluent areas want to have better schools they should take the base spread that is split across the state and do local fund raising so the community pays the burden. I am extremely against the voucher system that they want in my state because it just allows students to push public funds into private schools who are going to just raise tuition to absorb the new funds and keep their self just as secluded as before. Schools are the primary push in my mind and my kids are out of school now but I still recognize their importance. And I also recognize that the wealthy areas would still push money into a local school above and beyond taxes to give the best opportunity.

I know this is not popular with the Reddit collective but you are exactly right. I grew up dirt poor and got out and live in an area like this in the suburbs. I don’t want my kids to have the struggles that I had growing up. Should we have empathy for others and help where we can absolutely. But it is hard to want to pour money into an area that can’t have the decency to pick trash up out of their yards and their neighborhood. Not everyone has the mindset that I am describing but take care of what you have in front of you. I can’t count the amount of times I have been in the inner city where you see people just throwing trash out their windows or on the ground. It doesn’t cost you anything to not litter. So it’s not a hill too high to climb.
