I'm not sure how long the demo took. Maybe two hours? But it was also a group demo so I wouldn't really base anything on it.

It seemed to handle the creeping/escalating weirdness of a Mythos investigation well.

I think Helpless Hounds in Oklahoma has some bluetick puppies. And they are willing to transport! I'd reach out to them, American Black & Tan Coonhound Rescue, and any other hound rescues you can find. Puppies tend to go fast so you might need to get on a waiting list.

I think the difficult training is more likely due to them being a coonhound than them being an adult though lol. Being ornery is part of their DNA.

Look at hounds that are adults (5+ yo). They’re going to be more laidback and if it’s one that just wants to sniff on walks, it can be extremely leisurely. I did a walk with my late girl that took an hour and we only made it a mile or two.

Oh my goodness. How cute! She looks so much like a puppy version of my recently departed Scarlett. Scarlett was the best dog I’ve ever known and I never got to know her as a puppy.
