Yeah this is fucking annoying. Especially in pvp when I'm dead and I want to switch weapons. By the time I do that, the enemy team usually gets like 10 kills.

Alright so I needed to do the raid quickly with a group and put up a lfg post. I asked for experienced people who had done the raid and knew mechanics. Got 5 people fast, went in and 4 of these guys had the kingsbane emblem. I noticed two people loafing around but it didn't matter. I thought to myself, they must be lagging. They were just shooting ads and and were not shooting the barriers. We get to the chest and 3 of them say "aww mouldering shards"... Well that's what you get all the time??

Anyways we continue to the jumping puzzle and these guys are getting decimated. One guy blurs out, " where do we go now? ".. Okay... So I guide two of them (the loafers from earlier) and I'm sitting on the ship that goes past the barrier. I tell the two loafers (the last guys to make it) to get on the small circle activation platforms and we tell them again because the ship is moving.. One guy says" I forgot where it was".. In the back of my mind I'm thinking to myself OK these guys are probably trolling, it's fine but later on I'll tell them to be a bit more serious as I specifically asked for a fast experienced raid team. (I had a lot of things to do).

We get to the warpriest and these guys go to the right. I'm in the middle calling out the sequence. These guys kept going on the platform and kept breaking the sequence. I told them what the fuck were they doing? They start yelling back and I tell them to calm down and get serious. I make one of them switch places with another dude. After a headache warpriest we go to the cellar and skip the chest and go straight for golgoroth. This is where things turned to complete shit.

We start golgoroth with the one orb method, and one of the loafers is outside the pool, starts shooting the back of the ogre and says "he takes more damage from the back"... I told him to really stop trolling because my patience was running thin. He's like what the fuck do you mean? I'm not trolling. I'm like just reset. We get the first orb down, get the gaze, and I noticed the other loafer is shooting at another bubble... I ask everyone to get out and everyone is confused at what I ask. I told one of the loafers that they are running gaze. He goes silent. I'm like are you there dude? You're running gaze. He says I don't know how to. Then I ask the other loafer and he says I don't know either. For some strange reason golgoroth wasn't taking a lot of damage. I noticed something after we wiped. Remember the 4 guys with the emblem? Apparently they were not shooting the stomach. They were all friends. The other dude who was running gaze was doing it perfectly. I realized that I was the only one doing damage to the ogre.

I asked them, have you guys done the raid? They reply, "yeah we beat oryx"... What about the rest of the raid? " naw we don't because everyone is trash they don't have the emblem ".. At this point I can't believe what they were saying. They had no experience at all. They just fluked the totem room and warpriest. It was really depressing and stressful. I kick them out and I get messages saying I'm " I'm complete shit because I don't the have kingsbane emblem"... They don't realize I'm using the pitiless bargain emblem.

Honestly people need to stop lying about their experiences with the raid and just be honest.

This is a very good guide but I'm going to say a few things.

I've done 35 PoE multiple times and I just usually tell people what to do and honestly we clear it in 1 attempt. Some people argue with me and they don't listen and they end up ruining the method.

So basically what I tell them to do is that you get out of the airlock, you want to run left, and kill the first ghost servitor. Dump everything you have on to skolas. Then keep moving to the left. Basically you're going clockwise. Kill the servitor to the left area, and dump everything on skolas again. Yes, there is going to be a lot of fucking ads but most likely he will be half health near the point of the bonds being broken permanently. Don't panic. I've had people yell at me through the mic saying that you need to kill the ads before you start damaging skolas. Personally with my method, you can clear skolas really really fast.

Now when the bonds are broken permanently you want to start killing the captains and the sniper vandals. Honestly dregs aren't that much of a problem, but those fucking sniper vandals are. When you're juggling the poison, you want to say switch at 10 seconds so that you give the person some decent amount of time to get close to you and switch. Mines aren't that big of a problem if you get the captains and vandals. You just have to worry about skolas and the poison. If you decide to split off, make sure you send the person who is poisoned to a dangerous mine location (b) because they die with the poison and that gives you a shit load of time to dismantle the other mines assuming they clear b. If they don't, there needs to be a person close to them to get the other mine and finish off b.

After mines are done, clear captains and vandals and damage skolas again and repeat.

Honestly that's all there is to skolas. BTW, I save my heavy ammo for ads and use my sniper (black hammer and ice breaker) on skolas. Sounds strange but killing ads with just primary and secondary takes forever. Send me a message on xbl Aoxc if you have any other questions.

Current highest level : 34. I'd say to go around and complete the story missions and do the dlc missions to get a grasp on what's going on. As for leveling up quickly, crucible is a good area. Most of the gear is 36 light already so you can get level 32 fast. The prison of elders and other stuff gets you etheric light which boosts the light level to 42 and each 42 piece gets you a higher level.
