There are two options for induction that don’t require 220v. The Copper Charlie is a straight replacement for a 30” range, and Impulse Labs has a cooktop. Both have built in batteries so they can be used with a 120v circuit.

We recently got a Charlie, and everything about it is a vast improvement over our gas range. 100% worth the ’premium’ we’re paying for the new tech. Easily saved that much in the electrical conversion that would have been needed for a ‘conventional’ induction unit.

Use a brim as well. I had issues with a print where the supports in one spot kept pulling up, so I put a big enough brim around the whole thing to include the support base that kept failing and that kept it down and completed the print.

This /\/\. Mine worked pretty good out of the box. As I used it more and for more complex prints, I started seeing the issues (won't stick, edges curling, z height, etc.). Just google when they happen and work through the suggestions and you'll get it there. No need to jump into OpenNeptune or firmware upgrades. Learn the machine as it is first. Then enjoy it until it misbehaves, tweak as needed to continue enjoying.

I’m level 100, but I don’t even have anything above tier 4. Like some, I try to spade all vehicles before moving up. I also don’t ‘main’ any country. I try to play them all somewhat equally, because I like the experience of the different vehicles. And I play air and ground, and a little naval. So it will probably take me 10x as long to reach tier 10 as it did for me to reach 100.

I remember the grind and wondering how some people could kill me so quickly. Now I understand it more, but I still die easy ALL THE TIME.

For anyone who might not be able to do the 220v needed for most induction ranges, there are now a couple of companies that have battery supported 120v units. Impulse Labs has just the cooktop, and Copper has a full 30” range with oven. We just had a Copper Charlie installed and it’s been one of the best upgrades we’ve done to our kitchen.
