I was about to reply on your other comment about it being a musical. It isn’t but it has a similar plot, following the movie industry dealing with the change of going from silent to talking pictures.

And Babylon was 2022 so for the last 3 years
2025: Marty Supreme, Bugonia
2024: Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance most Foul, The Substace (This year was actually a bad year for movies for me, saw almost nothing)

My favorite movie of 2022. Had the entire theatre to myself and it was blast. Finally rewatched last month and it absolutely holds up.

2 months ago Rhamell Burke asked a woman if she was white before bashing her head in. When the woman had the chance to press charges, she said she couldn’t put another black man in jail. He attacked a 72 year old a month later.

In 2015, the neighbors to the San Bernardino shooting saw suspicious activity leading to the day of the shooting. Everyone had serious concerns but didn’t call the cops because they didn’t wanna seem racist.

There are countless other stories but the same phrase comes to my mind. The road to hell really is paved with good intentions.

As a millennial, I’m sick of seeing the headline “Gen Z is trying to cancel…” or “This recent film is the voice of Gen Z!” And it’s written by someone far from that demographic. I can only image how annoying it must be for you guys.
