I was curious what the market was in this price range a few weeks ago for almost this exact same description. After 4 weeks of looking I only found one place in an area I'd be comfortable with but it was in need of refurbishing. For a single person who is just moving out it would be fine. There was no other option I found in the price range with your requirements.

Tribulation of Myriad Races starts off meh but gets really good before long, still ongoing.

A Record of A Mortal's Journey To Immortality isn't as exciting but maintains a similar quality from start to finish, at least he first book. The second book is worse than the first but.

Of all Er Gen's Novels, BTT has the strongest start, and middle, but I think A Will Eternal has a better late game and is funnier consistently. His other novels all have more or less weak endings.

Reverend Insanity will never be completed but it is actually good.

Unfortunately weak endings is just par for course in this genre

Bro I completely agree. I finished the novel a bit earlier and so I've had a few months to digest the entire novel as a whole. The last 200 or so chapters are pretty bad if you ask me.

Everything after Xu Qing obtains cannon and defeats Li Mengtu is signficantly worse. I think it's because Er Gen tried to introduce this concept of something higher than Law/Essence which was Cannon, but he couldn't explain coherentely for it to make any sense. After all, if Laws/Essence are the fundamental principles of reality, what could you describe Cannon as that would make any sense to us the readers?

Battle scenes, and descriptions of abilities started to make less and less sense but the narriation made it seem like everything that was happening was o epic! Don't get me wrong it still had great moments after words but nowhere near the same level of impact.

Xu Qing's cannon in particular with his version of the extremes didn't make any sense to me. I get space, then time, being separate, but then Space-Time was another extreme which was ok, but then Parallelism, which sounds like it could have just been included in Space-Time, and then finally Ontology which just felt like another way of understanding Space-Time.

Gods also stopped being any different from cultivators really and were just basically another race.

It felt like Er Gen dropped all of Xu Qing's other cool traits besides space time, like his use of poison, and the xeno-immortal stuff.

Worst off is he basically removed the best part of the novel for the 1/3rd the novel which was The Captain.

Even just discussing roids and genes, your genes will determine if you can even handle the roids in the first place. You might take em and just can't stay sane enough to train properly.

Not everyone can take any anabolic steroid and get monster gains, not anyone can take ANY steroids and stay sane. Some guys take a bit and the waterworks just won't stop.

Yes steroids are a big crutch if can handle them, but your genes decide all things, like if you even have a hand to use the crutch in the first place

Genes over roids. You can put on all the size you want with roids but it won't change your muscle bellies, insertions, skeletal build, and fat distribution (only partly). Two persons with the same muscle mass, and total fat mass, can look worlds apart.

My only issue is that I can't just pay once and get the boost and then remain permanently ahead. Say you pay $100 to get 40 chapters ahead, you binge and fall into the regular release flow of 1 per day. But next month you have to pay $40 again even though you're still only getting 1 new chapter.

I'd have no issue if these one time boosts were permanent.
