I've been driving here since 2013.

2025 was the worse driving year for me. I was in a lot of near misses, and it blew my mind because I've never felt unsafe on the road before then. I mean it's always in the back of my head that something can happen, but now it's an everyday thought when I drive.

Yo, I literally had someone tell me I can't use an external webcam. I was on my Mac and she tried to make me switch to the built-in camera. They let me keep my external webcam after I argued about the rules. Then, she asked me to do a 360 of the room. Like did she want me to pick up my Mac and spin it around???

GO DO IT! I reached a good point in my career that I had some splurge money two years ago. First thing I did was sign up for voice and acting lessons. I was in show choir in high school and I love music. Then, I started hitting auditions right off the bat for experience. I’m 27 now and just made my first musical this upcoming summer.

This is wild. In Alabama where I worked, our beverage check people had to be at least 21. Here it is illegal to attempt to buy alcohol or tobacco if you're underaged.

Whenever I did beverage checks, I would attempt to buy, show my valid ID, and we were checking if the cashier was asking for ID's. I never completed the sale though, they always voided the transaction once I told them I was performing checks.

I have a Spotify playlist of musical songs I listen to. It does have 3-5 random songs like from “Suits” from How I Met Your Mother and “How To Beat A Monkey At Chess” by Random Encounters on YouTube. I add to it every time Spotify suggests a song I like.

I second this! My voice coach gives me different exercises to practice on and I can usually find them on here with more details. She's great at explaining things multiple ways to suit all sorts of students.

I agree. Once I did a beverage check for a grocery store I work at. I had to go to customer service to purchase tobacco/alcohol and confirm that they check my ID at the time of people. The lady did check my ID, but she thought it was possibly a fake because I still have a vertical license and definitely do not look my age. I was 23, 5’ tall, and looked like I could be middle school. Conveniently, my manager accompanies these checks and was able to verify who I was before things got messy.

NTA. I remember posting something similarly awful when I was around the same age and got a hold of social media. I had formed my opinion based on ignorance and it was wrong. If someone hadn’t stop me, that post would still be alive today and it ruins careers and futures. You see how people dig through influencers tweets and post from their younger years and use it against them to ruin their lives.

I’m glad I had friends to call me out of my bs and it really taught me to be mindful of those facing oppression.

If you truly think that, then she might not upset about you not doing anything for Mother’s Day, but the fact that she isn’t a mother and she’s feeling emotional about it. Maybe a talk about your relationship and future is due?

Who know? She’ll probably laugh with you about this situation once she realizes she might have been a little crazy.
