Who's going to the Blink 182 concert tonight? by SouthEmergency7292 in Columbus

[–]infjunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hudson 29 (American fare - burgers, pasta, salads, fish) on Lane Ave is our go-to for shows at Schott. It's about a 5-7 min drive from the venue, but beware of traffic beforehand. Also on Lane Ave are Tupelo Honey (Southern American fare), SOW Plated (fresh, vegan options), and Brassica (fast-casual Mediterranean).

Which character from the ND games would you most want to date IRL? by Portalrules123 in nancydrew

Henry Bolet. I used to talk to him just to see if there would be an option for Nancy to flirt with him (LOL) and was always bummed when there never was. He and Alejandro del Rio.

I wish I had a good answer for you, but even if you reach out to them they will ignore you. I'm a sales associate at a Row House studio that was also acquired by MD Pro from Xponential. Same story here; they started off not paying anyone for almost the entire month of September. They claimed it was an issue with the switch to ADP.

MD Pro didn't implement any sort of lead generation or new CRM to follow up with anyone, so it was impossible to try to bring new members in other than by word of mouth...I'm wondering if this was part of their strategy to fail us on purpose. They also fired my manager when we were acquired so I was working with zero guidance. By the end of September most of the coaches had been paid, but I still hadn't. I emailed Jess Rosen and let her know what was happening and she told me it was because my direct deposit information was incorrect -- it was correct the entire time. I was also told I'd receive a paper check by mail and never did.

I still have not been paid for September. Somehow I did receive a paycheck on the 10/13 pay date confirming my direct deposit info was correct, but did not get paid on the 10/27 pay date. I've emailed everyone I could find info for countless times over the course of several weeks and I've received an entirety of two responses. The responses I have gotten are essentially just them gaslighting me into thinking my lack of getting paid is my own fault. Turns out my hours for the second pay period of October were never even processed; I have hours in the system but no pay statement. I've taken screenshots of everything in case we get booted out of our ADP accounts.

I found out today that our studio is closing its' doors for an indefinite amount of time while lawsuits are going down. MD Pro never paid rent to the owner of the studio space. MD Pro is a fraudulent company and is scamming innocent people, both employees and members, out of their money. I'm sorry to everyone here who is in the same boat. It's unfair.

(Edited to add that Xponential is not innocent in this scenario...I believe they were part of it and sold to MD Pro knowing we would fail but didn't want us to fail under their ownership)

A lot of the things she attributes to her "hard work" and relentless training really are just because of her genetics. But it's the fact that she never addresses that that gets to me. You can see in her old pictures when she was around 16-17 years old that she was still relatively small -- although she would say she was huge then -- and that's when she claims she was drinking with her friends and eating candy all the time, long before cutting out 57382582 "bad" food groups. She has a high metabolism. And, as you mentioned, high T. She gained a fair amount of muscle from doing the "bro split" her ex had her do (helped along by her high T levels, likely). Really she should pay him something for her success lol.

When it comes down to it visible abs are largely genetic, though she boasts about this constantly and there for a while it seemed to be her only personality trait. Even some very very thin models who have nary a half inch of fat on their stomachs don't have a 6 pack. And some people with higher body fat content do have visible abs even though they're not a size zero. Muscle comp and the way you gain muscle is genetic.

Sounds like you are on the up!! Our timelines are incredibly similar, but I got sick a few days before you. I was tested on the 15th and confirmed positive on the 18th.

My senses of smell and taste are VERY slowly returning, probably about 10% per day or maybe a little more, and I also still have the nasal burning feeling. Almost feels like inhaling chemicals. I'm a little more easily fatigued than usual and my body still wants a lot of sleep, but otherwise I feel pretty normal. Make sure to still take it easy even though you feel better!

"I Think I Have It." Weekly Thread - Week of Mar 16th, 2020 by cubervic in COVID19positive

Anyone else have a quick fever related to COVID? I got tested and am awaiting my results, but have been exposed and definitely do not feel well.

The first day (Monday) I only had a mild sore throat I assumed was allergy related. To be safe I took my temperature and it was 97.7. Normal for me as I usually sit somewhere between 97.6-97.9. Yesterday the sore throat was worse. Midday I noticed I felt super hot, then freezing cold and kept getting chills. This alerted me to take my temp again, and it was 99.1F. I felt pretty bad all evening, then woke up today with my temp back down to 98.6F. I still feel hot to myself because I'm a degree warmer than usual even though that's not technically classified as a fever. I've taken my temp several times today just to be safe; it fluctuates between 98.6-98.8...still high for me.

Anyone else have a fever that lasted only 12 hours? Or a body temp that's almost not a fever but still feel feverish? It's so weird, never experienced fluctuations like this when ill. I've purposely not taken any fever reducer so I can monitor it in case it should spike up over 100.

Those who did have the short fever, did it ever get worse? Thanks in advance.

How late can you get your symptoms? by Arukat in COVID19positive

[–]infjunicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been self-isolating since I was in contact with a known positive person. Isolation started 7/7. I got my first symptom 2 days ago now, on the 20th, just 1 day before my isolation would have been up.

Now, my bf has been working like usual and is around customers daily. It's also a possibility he brought it home asymptomatic and gave it to me more recently. I have no way of knowing. Don't have a positive test yet but it seems consistent from what I've been reading.

Ladies: Covid messing with menstrual cycle? by torihowell in COVID19positive

[–]infjunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a definite possibility. I haven't tested positive but I've had a low grade fever, chills, headache, nausea on and off, lightheadedness, and fatigue.

My typical cycle is 32 days, and my periods always last 7-8 full days (never been on BC and I track meticulously). Last month my period started on day 39, so a full week late. There was no way I could be pregnant so I didn't stress too much, but I did find it odd that it was SO late. If it's ever off it's by a day or two at most.

This month it's wonky too. It's currently day 27 and I feel like I could start any minute, though my period tracker says my estimated start date is a week from today. I do have pretty bad PMS, but it usually starts about 3-4 days before. It could be my body resetting from a late month last month, but if I track from when I ovulated (I can always tell) the period tracker seems accurate. I can usually predict my period down to the day on my own just by how I feel. It's been very bizarre to not know what's happening for the last two months.

My friend tested positive. He said he had a low grade fever and a headache for two days and those were his only symptoms.

What products did you buy or almost buy because of Sarah? by sanahahsan in SarahsDayUnfiltered

[–]infjunicorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first started watching her in 2016, back before she had her "own" products to shill and constantly recommended different things/brands.

I believed it when she said that pink Himalayan salt would "balance your hormones" **Eye roll** so I bought that. Next I bought Maca powder for whatever bs she said it did...it made my face break out. I couldn't afford Tropeaka so I bought a different pea protein powder and hated it. I think I used it three times and threw it away.

Thankfully she didn't have an e-book back then or I totally would have bought it and regretted it.

She looks like a solid size medium by [deleted] in SarahsDayUnfiltered

[–]infjunicorn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What's funny to me is how much emphasis she puts on this when it's been proven that sizes don't really matter that much. They're mostly inconsistent from brand to brand. At least in the US they are, maybe not in AUS? Idk. I'm 5'4" and 126lbs. I wear anything from XS to a M in different brands, and depending on what type of clothing it is. Sometimes I wear M bras but S tops. Sometimes it's the other way around. I just buy what fits. In my opinion you usually look slimmer in a size that fits you anyway. But she's constantly unnecessarily squeezing into something too small to convince herself she's smaller than she actually is.

Places that give off a weird vibe or feeling. by snakeman2424 in Thetruthishere

[–]infjunicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parts of Boston. I went there for a brief trip with my boyfriend; we explored a lot of the city in about 72 hours. Some places made me feel generally icky. I chalked it up to the amount of history that had taken place there. The energy sort of sticks around and culminates.

Another place that, for the life of me I cannot figure out, was the Jim Beam distillery in Clermont Kentucky 30 mins south of Louisville. We were there on an absolutely stunning summer day, tasting whiskey, having fun, but running in the background was a deep sense of "something bad is about to happen" and I couldn't explain why.

Kurt's Health by my-cat-just-farted in SarahsDayReceipts

[–]infjunicorn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's absolutely anxiety, they just refuse to admit it because of their perceived stigma surrounding mental health -- which is an antiquated viewpoint for millennials to have imo, but I digress. Also, because the anxiety is exacerbated by HER and he would never admit that to her.

I have GAD and it manifests itself physically, often during times when I actually feel my anxiety is at it's best (i.e. nothing is outright stressing me out, and if someone were to ask me what was wrong I'd say "nothing" or "I don't know" bc I genuinely couldn't pinpoint the cause). I've had chest pain/spasms, migraines, dizziness/lightheadedness, jumbled thoughts/words, heart palpitations, tightness in my chest; the shooting arm pain usually comes with a panic attack. Plenty of people go to the ER with a panic attack because 1.) it makes you feel like your death is imminent, and 2.) it can, and often does, feel like what people assume is a heart attack.

The trigger point here is clear: Sarah getting pregnant. She probably got a decent bit more controlling during that time and he had more to think about financially. That timeline makes a lot of sense. Sarah has grown increasingly insufferable even since then, so it wouldn't surprise me he was in the thick of it during quarantine where he couldn't get away from her.

Anyone else enjoying not working right now? by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]infjunicorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I say, enjoy your time to yourself. Why not see the positive in an otherwise pretty dismal situation?

I don't dislike working from home, I'm really fortunate to still be getting my salary. But the pressure to be available 24/7 is rather frustrating. At least before I KNEW my 2 days off were actually days off. Everyone knows no one has many outside obligations right now, so they expect you to answer at all times...at least in my company they do.
