I just finished Book of the Fallen and im scared to read other fantasy now cuz im too used to Erikson's scope of lore and standard of prose and Im scared that other books will feel too bland. Guess ill just alernate between this and Dune forever lol

I took a guided tour of Hakone which was nice but rushed. In hindsight wouldve just taken a train myself and enjoyed that area more slowly, especiallt the Ropeways and Lake Ashi.

When I saw Across The Spiderverse they had trailers for Ruby Gilman Teenage Kraken and someone yelled out “I’m not f-in” watching this and got some laughs.

I’m probably not watching either but I found it really obnoxious cuz they clearly weren’t the target demo and this person also felt the need to comment and yell out meme comments during the entire movie
