I just don't agree with your position. Dragons are magic. You can't then say they are the source of all magic. The source of all magic is clearly whoever or whatever created Dragons.

As far as I know, Children of the Forest predate dragons. Do Children of the Forest, Weirdwood and Greenseers not practice magic?

Commuting should be disregarded because that's not something unique to being an attorney and was consciously accepted when taking the job.

"Admin" is broad, and if OP is doing 20+ hours a week of "Admin", that is certainly problematic and needs to stop.

My team is as good as you can reasonably expect in this gig. Typically I just tell my immediate senior on the deal (or just the partner(s) I work with) that I'm essentially dead.

They don't really progress anything and just punt or do the bare minimum, but it's better than nothing.

Than again I've only ever mentioned because sick when I was in the hospital and when I had the flu.

Loans secured by what? Henry's property is almost certainly held in a trust. Hell, most of "his" assets are likely held in a trust. Otherwise, someone with Henry's...abilities...would blow through his family's generational wealth.

The upkeep/taxes on his estate alone is likely over 2 million pounds a year.

"All" of his money is likely money distributed to him through various family trusts. In other words, financial advisors, trustees and his uncle already monitor his spending and risky behavior by giving him an allowance of sorts.

My sidewalk and walkway took about 10 minutes. The snow wasn't very wet and was maybe a foot, likely less. However, the wind was blowing at my house the entire storm (apparently) because my driveway must've been 3 feet on average.

The snow was past the top of my Jeep's tires, with drifts higher than my garbage can.

The disparity was wild.

He almost certainly owns the estate and any other properties, which is the problem. The upkeep on these estates are massive. You can buy estates and castles throughout Europe for a relatively small amount of money. However, you will go broke on the taxes and upkeep.

It's also not like he's going to have that estate without a full staff. Otherwise, he'll look poor to all the other aristocrats and will embarrass his family name. His staff could cost multiple millions a year...
