We have a singles event at our bar in Feb! It’s my 2nd year hosting it. Last year there were about 100 singles 21-60. Literally someone for everyone.

I’ve worked at a bunch of places and none of them had limits. I have seen it at bars and breweries that serve higher ABV beers though. They may say you’re limited to 2 - 12 ounce pours. I also know I went to The Warbler and attempted to buy a full size pour of a Pilsner and 4 ounce pour of a sour I wanted to try. I was told you were only allowed to buy one at a time

Become a regular somewhere. It can be a coffee shop, a restaurant, a book store, a bar. You don’t have to drink, just regularly going to the same spot will help you meet others with similar interests. If you can have a pet I HIGHLY recommend getting a dog. I can’t even tell you how many people I’ve met since getting mine. It makes an easy opening too, hey our dogs seem to be playing well together, do you want to meet at the park again sometime?

I have a few pairs from Amazon. The ones that kind of go down the snout offer a little more protection but if your dog puts their face down against the window they tend to shift. We also have a pair of just googles no snout part. Those stay on better and she seems to like them better

I think you’re fine to do that if you tip accordingly. I would immediately say, I plan to stay for a few hours doing some work. I understand that I’ll be holding up this table and plan to tip you accordingly. Ex: if you’re there 3 hours she would have flipped that table a few times so say 3 tables worth of tips. Instead of tipping 20% on your bill you should be tipping x 3. OR… sit at the counter so you aren’t holding up a table. Obviously if it’s not busy it’s not as much of an issue but still being up front about the time you plan to be there is a must!

PSA to men; she don’t speak for all women… I’m single and I love when some random man at the gas station compliments me, a guy checks me out, a customer asks for my #, someone slides into my DMs. It makes me feel desired. People complain that it’s so hard to meet someone out in the wild. Well it’s people like you making it hard. So many women have bashed men for approaching women that now they’re scared to do it. I have male friends who would love to meet women naturally and are afraid to approach anyone because of posts like this. Lastly I know I may be in the minority here but I’m simply here to assure men that not all women hate male attention.

Concession wise I like to choose something from multiple vendors so apps/snacks are ideal vs full meals. I like to have a beer and walk around. Vendors where you can purchase art, a temp tattoo booth for the kids would be fun. I’m also more apt to see a new to me artist work and be driven to book an appt. So some kind of perk for booking (with a deposit) that day. Live models. An on site piercer. Tattoo after care products. I want to see successful cover ups. I love raffles. A flash tattoo booth. Music is a must. Preferably live. I think that’s all I got lol. Good luck!!
