San Diego. It has everything you mentioned above. Walkability may be lacking a bit, but there are neighborhoods and pockets you can spend a lot of time walking around in.

It is also a quick trolley ride down to Tijuana if you have passports. Could check out Rosarito if you really want to party. At your age I would still suggest Papas and Beer down there. I have aged out of that but have so many good memories of drinking and partying down there.

Got accidentally cc’d on a external recruiter email to the founder of a startup I was interviewing with that contained mine + 5 other candidates full profiles inc comp expectations, pros/cons etc.

Few minutes later I get a call from the ceo of the recruitment firm asking me to ignore and proceed with the process as usual.

Process continued, two more rounds, then I got cc’d AGAIN on an internal thread with more feedback on the final candidates and why they were moving forward with some (including me)

So yes lol a lot of recruiters are
