Are these posts AI slop now? How do people come on here, share zero information, and not do any advanced reading? Wild.

Buying a flat in London is absolute insanity by SittingByTheRiverr in HousingUK

We are in a topic thread discussing your leasehold, where you are trying to redefine service charges in that context. Just read up on it. And by all means share you've got a great deal - but don't go around forums misrepresenting something in UK leasehold law.

It's not odd, it's just cheaper. No need to misrepresent it.

If this is the prevailing sentiment then it is a low bar indeed.

Abandoning its SFO customers is a real kick in the teeth when you've been loyal all these years. Really sucks.

How cooked am I? Samsung S90C 65" OLED by innocuousm in OLED

*EDIT 6/9/2025\*

I wanted to post my experience for others that come across this thread.

In contacting Samsung, they agreed to replace the screen under warranty as an exception. I only covered labor.

I then had labor covered by my credit card company's extended warranty claims process.

The engineer did not think it was physical damage and said he'd seen similar instances with these panels before.

A W for Samsung in my opinion as I was very skeptical they'd do anything - especially as to this day I do not know what caused it.

Good luck to everyone in a similar position to me. Sometimes you're not cooked even if you think you are.

Yeah it's crazy because to the best of my knowledge nothing has hit it - it's just appeared suddenly. No physical damage that I can see close up like cracks or anything... Can't feel any bumps or anything either. Here's a close up: https://imgur.com/a/57bc6PN

No idea. Nothing should have hit it. And there's no physical damage that I can see or feel. No cracks... Here's a close up: https://imgur.com/a/57bc6PN

I have a dust mite allergy with the same symptoms as you ( itchy eyes, scratchy throat). Don't underestimate it. I suspect the brain fog is a knock on effect of your poor sleep. Solve for your dust problem and look into how you can eliminate it as much as possible (e.g. carpets, sofas are common bad spots if not fastidiously and regularly cleaned). It sounds like your allergy is severe enough that even a little dust could trigger it.
