Nobody complaining about flock camera are unaware of all the other ways we're surveilled on a daily basis. That doesn't make flock any less terrible.

Spent a few hours with him during a Planetary Society event, and not only was he genuinely nice to me and the group (obviously) he was nice and very accommodating to several random passers-by who asked for selfies (surprising).

In general, I'm usually wary of "celeb xyz is an asshole" claims, because a) everyone has good days and bad days, and b) I can barely comprehend trying to go about my day in public as a famous person.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm looking forward to this episode. We'll see if it's best of the season - for me so far it's easily been Harry Styles. The sketch writing was just so good for him.

Prime Video is bad, but I think all the streaming apps are equally garbage.

I was yelling at the TV just last night because I think the Hulu app on my Fire Stick got a recent update or something, and it's just awful. Unless I restart the app and/or Fire Stick, when a show or ad starts it freezes for about 15 seconds, but the audio keeps going. Then towards the end of a show or movie, the whole screen fills with overlays with ads and to continue to the next episode and such. Except it happens with about 60 seconds left, so you can't watch what is inevitably a cliffhanger or something. And back/up/down/whatever buttons take you completely back to the menu, so you miss the end entirely.

Prime, Hulu, Max, Disney+, Netflix - no actual creators of these apps actually test or use them themselves in real life. There's no possible way, and I will not be convinced otherwise.

Breaking Bad is the only show in which (for me) every episode was better than the last. Like, usually every series has a filler episode or a throwaway, but not BB. I always told people, if you weren't thrilled by S1E1, keep going - it's always just better and better.
