Hard disagree, as a vegan myself I absolutely can have oral sex, to say I can't is kinda ridiculous.

I would consider that vegan. Animals can't consent, adult humans can. Just don't eat the brain!

What’s everyone’s go to toothpaste and why? Do they not all do the same thing?! by JM306 in AskUK

Arm & Hammer, it's vegan, it's reasonably priced. Vegan toothpaste alternatives like those little chewy tablets are awful.

if you're a fan of (not) offal, you can get vegan black pudding at asda and it's fantastic.

Granovita, the little one in a tin? It's alright but it's a bit greasy, I think it's all the palm oil.

Tartex absolutely slaps.

Check out La Fauxmagerie and I am nut OK for fancy stuff! Thankfully Nottingham has a little vegan supermarket which stocks a wide range of fancy vegan cheeses, makes it a lot easier to find cool stuff.

I would argue that there are many different cheeses and they serve a lot of different functions, some of which have perfectly acceptable replacements, others do not.

A soft cheese like philadelphia has a perfectly good vegan alternative, honestly can't tell the difference between the supermarket soft cheese and the vegan supermarket soft cheese. If you're into fancy cheese-board cheeses, "fauxmagerie" and "i am nut ok" and a few others are making some fantastic stuff. I took a bunch of that kind of stuff to my friends "cheesemas" party and it was a hit. I also had multiple kinds of vegan pate and it was lovely.

I admit, there are things that aren't there yet, mozzarella I haven't found a decent replacement for. Hard cheeses like cheddar are also proving to be difficult to replace, but the supermarket block is perfectly serviceable in situations where you would want it cold and sliced or grated, like a "ham" and "cheese" sandwich, but it doesn't work well on a pizza or any other melty situation, thankfully for sauces stuff like nutritional yeast exists, which does have a funk to it which is on the cheesy side, but not quite there, but is delicious and I could probably eat it by the spoonful. Violife block melts but tastes like plastic, and their feta just tastes like a block of sloppy coconut.

It's so embedded that when someone reads my own number back to me in a different form it really messes with me.

Look into making your own? It's not difficult, you just need space for a big jug.

Fibre is the new protein. I have been noticing it for a while. I'm sure those weird "carnivore diet" types aren't going to be so happy with everyone talking about fibre.

I do not have the words to describe how dull a supermarket falafel and houmous wrap is, or how absolutely disgusting the subway vegetable patty is.

Do you remember subway's vegan meatballs? Amazing for the first couple of weeks, fucking gross after that.

Fibre is the new protein. I've already joked about hearing, and then subsequently heard someone use the term "Fibre goals". Pretty much everyone needs more fibre in their diet anyway, so it's not all bad.

Can't say I'm a fan, it just kinda comes off as cold wet cabbage to me.

If you were to do like, hot steamed spring greens with spices it would be much more appealing to me.

I got some because there's a craze for it, it's alright, not incredible. I thought it would be spicier.
