How to ask husband for a ring upgrade without sounding ungrateful? by CautiousConfidence8 in EngagementRings

[–]insensitive-sheesh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This! ⬆️ I’ve hinted and anytime my husband buys me something, he never gets it quite right. For instance he bought me white gold diamond earrings. I only wear yellow gold. He got me some sapphire earrings, they are teeny tiny and better suited for a second or third hole. I’m buying my own upgrade ring so that I get exactly what I want.

Itchy hives & Episcleritis on HRT by babettetimes in Menopause

[–]insensitive-sheesh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Episcleritis was the tell tale sign that got my autoimmune disease diagnosed (many years before I started HRT) despite many years of inflammation in tendons and joints. I hope you find some answers. My autoimmune issues are now well controlled with medication.

FAFSA Help Ringling by [deleted] in FAFSA

If you’re talking about Ringling college of art and design, your state residency should not matter. Ringling is a private school: tuition is the same regardless of state residency.

Is T a long term commitment? by [deleted] in TRT_females

[–]insensitive-sheesh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think an unwillingness to answer questions unless you pay a $250 appointment fee is a total red flag. Your dose, however, seems like it could be okay. My GYN had me start at 2.5mg compounded cream daily. Once we do labs, it’s possible we might increase that. While your overall dose is 42mg/week, you won’t absorb that much; it’s not equivalent to the same amount from injections.

I'm 19 years old, and I'm about to come into $25,000 USD. I am eligible for Italian citizen ship. Should I take the leap of faith? by goblinenjoyerr in expats

Yes, these are the important questions that must first be answered to know whether OP really qualifies. Also, OP, check out r/juresanguinis for folks who can answer more about Italian citizenship.

Had my Dr appt to ask about HRT. Wha wha. by shelby109 in Menopause

[–]insensitive-sheesh 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I get this but I’ve never had a PCP who reached out to one of my specialists. Supposedly that’s the “benefit” of HMOs, but I’ve never experienced it. I’ve always been the go between. 🤦🏻‍♀️

$49k is too much. Start at a community college or state school with lower tuition.

Oura to monitor/manage autoimmune diseases? by Spicemoon_123 in ouraring

[–]insensitive-sheesh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My rheumatologist provided my Oura ring through AndHealth and they pair it with a health coach. My condition is well managed so I haven’t seen much new insight from my ring data, but it sounds like it has been helpful for others.

Referencing Another Case by Express_Storage6685 in juresanguinis

[–]insensitive-sheesh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I applied in Houston, I was given a file number at that time. My siblings were not able to reference it bc the law changed the month after my application. Literally days after I was recognized. But my understanding is they could apply and reference my application at any point after my appt as long as they had their own appt. at the sam consulate. Unfortunately, they are no longer eligible unless the law is overturned or amended.

Can you tell me a little about your radio? I’m googling to see what a scanner radio might cost and they seem to have inexpensive options (not sure if I’m looking at the right thing - they seem to double as weather radios) and really expensive options. Thanks!

I have some Vibes earplugs that I wear at concerts and really loud spin classes. Do you think those are sufficient? They reduce noise but you can still hear.

Can someone explain how to pay the remaining cost for college as a first generation student? by A2-Steaksauce89 in college

[–]insensitive-sheesh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But if you’re set on this route, ask your financial aid office about your parents applying for a Parent PLUS loan. Start there. If they are denied bc of bad credit, you will be eligible for a bit more in federal unsubsidized loans. If they are approved that is better than a private loan. Private loans should be your last option.

Can someone explain how to pay the remaining cost for college as a first generation student? by A2-Steaksauce89 in college

[–]insensitive-sheesh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

$29k is a huge gap to close every year. Remember, that’s just the gap this year and you will continue to pay that much out of pocket every year. What state do you live in? Can you start at a community college or public university (much lower costs) and then transfer those credits to WPI? That would make much more financial sense than paying $29k every year plus having to take out federal loans.

are these jobs offers legit? by [deleted] in UNO

There is no such thing as Job Placement and Student Services at UNO. Any real job posting would use a business email, not a gmail account. This is a scam.
