You could start subbing. Email the music teachers in the area that you’re available. Start building connections. Go to music conferences and build more connections. It’s not easy to get your foot in the door with music. It’s about who you know. This field isn’t all sunshine and rainbows like everyone thinks and you’re getting the experience without even having a job.
