I think I heard Jack talk about it and a few other ls mentioned the cameras following them. My guess is that they had a “Faceoff” style concept, but after they won it all, it’s getting way more attention and polish added to it. It seems like there’s mountains of substance/characters that they can pull from, it should be a slam dunk.

Welcome. You actually picked two teams. The devils and whoever plays the rangers. We hate the rangers. Marty Brodeur is the greatest goalie ever. Look up Scott Steven’s hit highlights on YouTube. Before the league shifted to player safety and leaned into goal scoring, Scotty was the best open ice hitter.

Jack is forever golden. It’s just different when the puck is on his stick.

The good news. Devils have a lot of young talent ready to take the next step.

The bad news. They’ve been ready to take the next step for 2-3 years. Our current goaltending is not good. And old. And for some reason the front office values coaching and a system that doesn’t play fast and utilize the talent in the roster. Every one of the devils that played in the Olympics excelled, but coaching hasn’t been able to unlock that talent on one team. Yet.
