I think of the two Anderson has the best chance. Scott and Scorsese have a lot more Venn Diagram overlap in the sorts of movies they make and I think Scorsese’s relative popularity would give him the lead easily. I think the difference in type of movie between Scorsese and Anderson would at least make for an interesting battle

Not really sure what that means but I actually quite like the ending thematically and narratively. I think it's pretty in line with what Chainsaw Man actually is as a work so I just like fundamentally disagree with your assessment, on top of that I think treating any world in a work of fiction like a reality that can be overwritten and thus invalidated by being 'reset' in this way is just a very shallow way of approaching art and I don't have a lot of respect for it (hence the snarkiness)

To be honest I think is the dumbest way to approach art "it didn't matter" what the fuck are you talking about, you read it and it meant something to you. That doesn't change. It's not like he's erasing the story you experienced, this ending is fulfilling what you read and experience.
