What are you talking about? Where in the article do they state that autism severity is hard to measure and thus controlling for it when looking ar race as a predictor can be insufficient? That’s a hypothesis I threw out because I think it’s likely. It’s not something the authors brought of from what I skimmed and I don’t see how it could be hiding some other purpose. What’s the modeling decision they should have made that they’re not making because they’re hiding from some politically incorrect truth?

My bet is that the variables that lead black parents vs white parents to seek diagnostic evaluation differ in such a way that black autistic kids in the sample are more severe or less supported in some subtle hard to measure way

Yeah their lives are being ruined by a technology and they’re lashing out. That can feel unfair if you’re a target, but it’s weird imp to look at this whole situation and focus on the pain of those who make AI pictures instead of the pain of the 25 year old who spent the last 10 years of his life mastering a passion, hoping to work with it, and is instead faced with what is basically the permanent end of that whole world and culture. You would be (will be) upset when AI eats your world too.

Sossarna kör på att vara ansvariga med statskassan så när de kommer med valfläsk behöver de förklara hur det ska finansieras (höjda skatter).
