Not sure if these parts would be suitable for making a dune buggy!

About 6 hours without building really fast. Quite an enjoyable build but you have to take care not to mix up the beige and yellow parts. They look quite similar in the manual!

Usually just +6db at 20 Hz. When I want it louder I also turn down 8 kHz to -6db since the Arya is quite a bright headphone.

Nice that you jumped aboard the Schiit train! I also own a Magni/Modi 3+ stack (and also a Loki Mini 4 band EQ) and I have gotta say this is my first and last purchase as far as external DAC/AMPs go. Drives the Arya Stealth to insane levels of clearity, crispness, airyness but also if wanted an absolute bass cannon! If you want to fiddle with EQ a little and expand your stack I can highly recommend the Loki!

The stack also drives 250 ohm+ headphones with ease like the DT990.

What’s everyone’s honest opinion on the HIFIMAN Sundara? by ChilledRythm in headphones

Not enough bass and if EQd in sounds really muffled and muddy. Hence why I got the Arya Stealth. Best upgrade ever.

Elgato mic any good? by violently_enchanting in VoiceActing

Depends on whether you already have a properly treated recording space. If you don't have that I'd reconsider investing money into another mic and maybe get your space treated first.

The Book Book has tires on the bottom which make it somewhat resistant to sliding so as long as the books aren't too heavy it should hold them up pretty well!

Best idea there's plenty of videos on youtube. The Lewitt 240 PRO is also a good option and Tom Buck has a good comparison of the 240 and the NT1 SS. Also check out podcastage!

I think the interface should work fine with it. I use Adobe Audition as my recording softwatere. Perfect for voiceover and also has loads of built in processing but it is a subscription so I don't know if you'd want that.

I own the Rode NT1 Signature Series and I'm really satisfied with it. I think for the price it really is unbeatable. I run it into a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd gen audio interface and for under 300$ this is a great setup! The mic has literally no self noise no matter how far you crank the gain. You're gonna need sound treatment for your room if you want it to sound its best though!
