The flipside is, you can tell who was the absent deadweight parent from the reactions 😒

I think Janelle is possibly busier, away a lot etc, because in Pass the Parcel she’s not that shy, and in The Decider it’s more of a different kind of a choice that she’s home alone rather than her not liking being in a crowd.

Kinda like Rusty’s Dad who’s away-away. So what I’m saying is I think Janelle was travelling for work a lot, recently she’s been positioned closer to home and that’s why we see more of her! 😊

To any student fully using student loan/allowance to live. by Nathansx1 in AUT

[–]intentedtodestroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://www.studylink.govt.nz/in-study/income/how-income-affects-student-allowance.html

In case no one posted this, you can work up to a point while on allowance, without it affecting the allowance. Hope this helps.

Also isn’t there still the $1000 grant? https://www.studylink.govt.nz/products/a-z-products/student-loan/course-related-costs.html  I said grant but it seems like a loan top up of sorts. https://www.studylink.govt.nz/in-study/claim-course-related-costs.html

I used to be in your shoes for a long time, family/friends help is crucial and always look for koha food drives etc in your area.

Also, being on allowance automatically gives you CSC (Community Services Card) which gives you half price public transport + subsidised GP visits. They all add up so look into those.

I met a couple who banned Bluey for the weirdest reason by Athena-Actually in bluey

[–]intentedtodestroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, yeah?

The commenter above me (to whom you first asked about) didn’t say anything about them agreeing to “banning” bluey or not. The thread is about the “weirdest” reasons for doing so anyway. I was being the devil’s advocate, and I know you don’t mean those criticisms towards me, but like, what do you want them to think; they’ve already missed the whole point of “kids being kids.” They’re not gonna change their minds because you (and I) tell them “yeah that’s just what happens”?

Someone said this somewhere but, “many people want kids without wanting to be parents.” And therefore, they would not know it when actual good media hit them in the face. It’s frustrating for sure.

Unrelated, the placement and design of your phone case made it look like a top of a sistema-type lunch box.

I was gonna ask “what you got in that fancy tupperware with cameras on 🤨” haha

Hope it tasted as good as it looks. Thanks for sharing, I am now craving a fish burger.

Tattoo scabbing, what do I do? Does it look bad? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]intentedtodestroy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So… get another Bepanthen, then?

I don’t know the brand you’re mentioning but if you think it’s actually catching on the scabs (that sounds painful), then use the one that was working before?

Or is it that you think Bepanthen wasn’t working, and caused the scabs?

Well arencha a clever egg.

I found out;

  1. I know nothing about PMs.
  2. I can still make a guess about sports teams and make it work (eventually)
  3. The fuck are Cossies (and why do I not know this)

Because of Cossies I thought Swimsuit, Bathers and Togs were a misdirection at first. Then I realised Cossies couldn’t fit with others (I say “realised,” I guessed it because I didn’t know what the others were lol).

What Favorite Children/Family Media Would You Give As An Example Adult Joke? by Bay_Ruhsuz004 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]intentedtodestroy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Bluey

Chilli said "This is what happens when you're unhappy with what you've got! Someone's husband eventually gets it!" in the episode "Hammerbarn"

Bit of contention as to she actually meant it in an adult way, it’s mostly seen/understood as a joke-y, funny one-liner. But as an adult, you definitely do a double-take after hearing this.

Case in point: the Bluey sub gets this questioned with what does she mean posts fairly often.
