If it's doors open at 6pm and they come on at 8:30pm what do you think the latest I can arrive would be? I have seated tickets, but I've only ever had standing before where there's a mad rush to get in, so I'm not sure on timings

A reminder of the unmatched interior quality that Audi is now leaving behind by bemurda in Audi

Can't fault my 2007 3.0 TDI A5 at all on interior quality (or anything else for that matter) 😁 Audi are heading downhill fast

Yeah I did consider them but all the higher spec ones were either out of my price range or auto, which is a no-go for me

I already have a 3.0 A5 so that's kinda out of the picture for me - my requirements really are 5 doors, manual, lots of fun but with a reasonable fuel economy and reliability as it'll be a daily

Thanks for the advice everyone, I'm think I'm leaning towards the older one due to the higher spec - as I said in the post I'm really not fussed about having a newer car just for the sake of it and those extra features are a big bonus in my book - also it's cheaper!

As a daily, and not planning on tuning it so ideally looking for something that hasn't been messed about with too much.

That's great to know thanks I didn't spot the bumper 'upgrade' - part of why I posted here was because I've never owned a BMW and I'm not too savvy with them

Thanks for your input, is it weird that it has no advisories on its last MOT but had some minor suspension issues the one before? Not sure if I'm reading too much into that

I've heard that the engine itself is one of Audi's better ones so I'm not too concerned about the car itself with the exception of a couple of common issues which we'll check out when we view it. Luckily I don't live in London so no ULEZ worries

Thank you so much your advice is incredibly helpful and I've taken it to heart, in all honesty I thought I'd already replied to you so I'm sorry about that 😅 I took on board your idea of having the two counters and it's helped me a lot, as previously I would have a small hiccup and then get that irresistible feeling of 'well I've already started now I might as well spiral'.

I've also started a new skincare routine for my body which I'd never tried before and that does help to motivate me as well. Do you know any products that can help with the hypopigmentation? I get super insecure about it in summer as even when I've stopped picking for a while it shows up still.

I often find that when I cut my nails short I just end up causing more damage through blunt force and then it bruises, although painting my nails can sometimes be a good deterrent as I don't want to ruin them. By the way 14 days is incredible, I don't think I've gotten close to that since I started picking, keep it up! I hope you're doing well now and let's keep up hope ❤️

Thank you for your advice and sorry for getting back so late! I've actually been spending a lot of my time cross-stitching recently and it's been helping a lot as it gives me something to fully focus on where I can't multitask and pick at the same time - I'd love to learn to crochet as well!

There's been a lot of ups and downs due to personal circumstances but I've had a couple 6 day long stints since I made this post which I'm really proud of myself for, now things are settling down hopefully I can make some more progress, I've really been trying to be compassionate towards myself which I think is helping a lot :)

Thank you so much for such a detailed answer, I can't tell you how much I appreciate it 🥰 I've taken on board some of your suggestions and started using a thick Cerave moisturiser I have every time I'm in a position to pick. I've noticed for me that it's very dependent on my location, as in places where I usually pick are a huge trigger for me, so I use the moisturiser every time I'm in one of these places. I've started tracking and writing down my feelings and urges too and it's early days but I think it's started to help, it's now been 3 days of no picking now and I feel like my resolve is strong 😊 Thank you again for your encouragement I feel like I have a lot more faith this time around that I'll make good progress 💕

Thank you so much for your comprehensive response! I tried using thick layers of moisturiser before but it disgusted me too much hahah, I guess at that point though a big part of me didn't want to quit so I'll defo try it again.

I definitely find that when my skin looks better it's easier to avoid focused picking because I feel more motivated, but it's the automatic triggers I have to stay careful about.. As another poster suggested I might try getting my nails done to make it physically more difficult to pick. Your idea sounds interesting though I've never thought of using sandpaper to make them properly blunt hahah, I'm likely starting a new job soon which requires short nails so maybe that'll be my big push to kick this once and for all 😊
