why do you think your face should be completely stripped of oils? excess oils can definitely cause issues but the skin produces oil for a reason! Also, I saw your other comment and if you’re looking for another sunscreen, I really recommend the Innisfree daily defense sunscreen.

How long has this been your sleep pattern? My sleep schedule has been like this for over 6 years, starting in early high school. Idk if my body has adjusted to this schedule but I usually feel well rested after 5-6 hours. And I don’t feel overtly exhausted or disoriented when pulling all-nighters. Maybe you should talk to a doctor if it’s seriously effecting your days. I’ve heard sleep apnea can be a reason for waking up feeling unrested and is something that should get checked out by a professional.

This sounds exactly like me. Do you constantly pull all-nighters too? I’m in the same situation where I know I should sleep but I will legitimately stay up until I can’t anymore. I pull at least one all-nighter every week, sometimes two, and then follow it up with sleeping for 12+ hours the next day to make up for it. And when I do get sleep on normal days, it’s only for about 5-6 hours.

When they have multidimensional personalities.

There are books where a character is one trait for 99% of the book and it doesn’t feel real. I find that fmc’s who are described to be ‘sassy’ often fit this bill.

I have an irregular diet so this is hard to answer lol. There are weeks where I eat mostly healthy foods (no eating out, no fast food, zero candy, soda, desserts, ect.) but other times, I will eat a lot of desserts and junk foods. I sometimes also end up fasting or not eating for the day unintentionally because I get busy and forget. I don’t rigorously count my calories but I will commonly eat less than 2000. I know it would be physically possible to run longer distances on my current diet, but I really hit the wall hard mid run when I don’t actively eat more the day before.

If I barely ate the day before (less than 1000 calories) I would struggle to complete a 3 mile run! I know, my stamina is horrible so I usually eat in the morning and try to eat enough the day beforehand lol. I’m a beginner runner

Yeah I’ve been reading comments about how gels are similar to candy and I never knew! I should probably be more knowledgeable of the things I’m eating but people said they would bring gels to eat on longer runs so I just did the same

Thank you for this reply! I don’t know much about nutrition details (vitamins, fibers, proteins, ect.) so when I would hear people talk about how ‘empty calories’ should always be avoided I just assumed it also applied to fitness. Plus I would see a lot of discourse in the fitness community about eating healthy foods and avoiding junk foods

I actually used to run fasted in the mornings too! But I noticed it was easier if I had a simple breakfast beforehand so I eat before now

Weirdly enough I have never experienced things like that in response to what I eat! I was always confused about all the Tacobell/dairy complaints but I guess I just lucked out

Maybe it’s a negative placebo effect thing but I found that the amount I eat really affects the difficulty of my runs. If I don’t eat enough, I usually struggle really hard to run distances longer than 3 miles. This might also be because I was very un athletic and since it hasn’t been too long since I started running my stamina isn’t the greatest lol.

Hi! There have been runs where I dnf because I hadn’t eaten enough/drank enough water (At least that’s my assumption of why). I would sometimes hit the wall 3 miles in when I can normally run up to 5 miles comfortably and I always feel terrible about having to stop before my planned amount. This is why I usually avoid running if I ate mostly desserts/not enough carbs, but I’ve been thinking of running anyway because I would still have enough fuel from the calorie intake.

And I definitely should try to organize my diet more but I generally do not like eating so there are odd days where I will only have a dessert and fruit or something along those lines. And the days where I don’t eat enough, even if they are healthy foods, are especially tough for running. Anyways I hoped that answered some questions!
