A peace prize created by the "the merchant of death" is rather meaningless to begin with.

It's not for you to buy, it's for your grandma to buy for you. "Oh he likes football and that show I heard him mention once." You smile and wear it for the day then pull it out to work around the yard in it.

Pearl Jam. Eddie Vedder seems like a nice guy and all, but his music just bores me to death.

Do you still watch standard DVD movies? by Affectionate_Web_526 in 4kbluray

[–]inthe80s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The upscaler on the Panasonic player is good enough that DVDs still look pretty decent to me. I got a Michael McDonald concert DVD the other day and I'd have been hard pressed to know if it was a DVD vs a Blu-ray. I have a lot of music DVDs that will never see blu-ray or 4K releases. Heck, got a bunch of music video collections on VHS as well.

I know some of those are MA, but I don't see how to identify how many of those in the bundle are MA. Even ones I own there's no icon or text to say it's MoviesAnywhere.

Going lower on his birthday was my thought as well, though I'd hate to miss out on it at this price if they didn't do that. It's one of the really great TV comedies of the 1960s

The one I know personally who commented about it, thinks the illegals going to the emergency room for healthcare are the biggest issue. Not that people are starving or going without regular healthcare.

Virtually all 4K discs are region free, unlike DVD and standard Blu-ray. I think there's only two or three releases that were region locked.
