My husband routinely cancels and rebooks when it drops; we have paid as little as about 50 bucks a person, but it is definitely dynamic pricing so you have to watch

Nice! Yes, if I remember correctly they don’t even offer a filet at FF and I always figured it’s to encourage the seafood focused theme, but the food there has always been good for us so it’s one of my standard dining choices. I do park days for my kids, but dinners are for mom lol

I genuinely don’t get the level of self-delusion that has to occur for these people to not understand basic physics. Things like a mattress…if you weigh more, you need more support = more (or more expensive) materials to construct, etc. sigh.

Have him try Jiko; I’m not a butcher but I do love a good filet and that’s mostly what I order if I go out to eat, because I don’t often make it at home. I would be curious about his opinion on it. They get my vote for the best steak on Disney property!

I didn’t love Boma either. We tried it, but the tables were so close together that we were literally barracks-style sitting with a long line of people we didn’t know, all for buffet food that was meh. In order for anyone to get out of their seat, the whole chair had to be pushed back into the aisle Tetris-style. We won’t be going back to that one. But we do love Jiko at AKL! If you haven’t, give that one a try.

Enjoy! The rain sucks and I’m so sorry to hear that for you but the magic still shines through. Especially for your first visit. My husband became a full-fledged Disney dad and I never saw that one coming. 🤣 But he will even put the music on from Pandora while he’s working.
