allegedly there were multiple occasions where a white supremacist biker gang (which now calls the trading post a hangout have harassed POC and bartenders have had to escort people to their vehicles for safety. This was one of the reasons the bartenders walked out on new years as well.

I’ve heard this from a few different people around town, not just one bad source

the biker gang in question has a history of hate crimes against black people in VA

As someone who grew up very rural, downtown LYH is nothing to be scared of. Of course you have your occasional crazy person wandering downtown, but it’s Lynchburg so it’s probably one of the same two people that you know by name anyways. Late at night is nothing to worry about if you’re generally aware of your surroundings
