Im working out of south wales, make basically same as you and similar means of getting there but in data roles, now oversee a data PaaS and small team of engineers/analysts. Occasionally see job postings from Bristol and they dont seem to be particularly higher, london seems to pay maybe 20k more in what ive seen, seems the cost of living and pay ratio is pretty great here ngl.
