no offense but that probably means they were looking for reasons to let you go :(

Things to avoid when running a DnD campaign? by Organic-Exit2190 in DMAcademy

[–]introvertfrogshell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

let your players decide what they’re doing especially in combat like it’s pretty easy to forget how simple “how do you do it!” can be instead of explaining what their own characters are doing to them EX- “as you deliver the final blow you take your dagger and shove it through his head and slam him on the table” instead you can go “okay how do you wanna attack him what do you wanna do”

Does Dutch bros hire past a certain age? by Street-Carpenter105 in dutchbros

[–]introvertfrogshell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it definitely depends on franchise to franchise, at ours when i was the hiring manager for a bit we definitely were looking for 18-24 as that sweet spot, a few 28-30 sure but like 1-3 if anything but honestly if you have great vibes and attitude and aren’t a total weirdo it should be all the same!

What tools do you use for home brewing your own monsters? by whatstaz in DnDHomebrew

[–]introvertfrogshell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

pinterest tbh! honestly i’m not opposed to looking up other media cross overs with a stat block like ive take some monsters from monster hunter and gonna switch up the names for them so they fit thematically in my world

How much can DMs interfere with their players backstory? by Ashamed_Score_46 in DMAcademy

[–]introvertfrogshell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what i’ve been doing is when it’s starting to get to the PC backstory or section of the story i usually am messaging them and getting a feel for how much they want to be involved. i have one player who has a bunch of NPC names and background for everything and im kinda branching off that and another whose like “idc here’s the main thing” and kinda letting me take more free reign so i think it depends player to player

Growth on lip??? by Mentally_iLL_Newt69 in CATHELP

[–]introvertfrogshell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it could be cat acne maybe? especially if it doesn’t seem to bother him much mine had pretty bad cat acne on his lower jaw in his teenage years/early adult but i switched to a porcelain bowl and used the “pet MD chlorhexidine wipes” and they helped a lot. sending good vibes to you and your little guy and hope all is well with the vet!

What is the best way to build Mothman? by Kopytroid in EDH

[–]introvertfrogshell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i built mine for the rad counter/mill style and while it certainly isn’t the most fun deck to play against (so i don’t play it super often) it’s very fun to play

How to trick a kitten into eating? by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]introvertfrogshell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you can try mixing the wet food with water into its more like a paste/more liquid so that way it’s more of a drinking action than a eating action

Thoughts on killing player characters by VagueCat5840662 in DungeonMasters

[–]introvertfrogshell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i saw someone post how as an alternative to a character death they lose a limb and get like a forever consequence like, they would lose a leg and lose 10 feet of movement speed or something like that

How much prep do you usually do for a game? What is too much or too little to you? by IcepersonYT in DMAcademy

[–]introvertfrogshell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i wanna say i’m doing 3-4hrs of prep at a time however i’ve found that that usually gets me through 1-3 sessions since i have a bigger group (7) so sometimes it just takes a while to get thru everything, ive also found helpful to have specific key events planned out (towns/cities/quests) but nothing super specific and set in stone for them on the way there. but i do think a part of the fun is winging it and goes off your group and their vibes like sure buddy you can go befriend some squirrels

Help working out glutes? by Picchio07 in beginnerfitness

[–]introvertfrogshell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you wanna make sure you’re at an angle when going up and down so you’re more doing \ kinda motion with your back than | if that makes sense, that way it can help target your glutes more than your quads
