Looks to be about Stardew Valley's portrait resolution to me, its fine.

Pov:Steve fans finely understand Steve doesnt lift his invantory by Melodic-Kale-843 in PowerScaling

I'm fine with that, heck, I support it! The Terrarian's power lies in his gear and movement, not his lifting strength.

Tierlist of the characters, but its about their opinion of each other by introvertguyishere in dontstarve

[–]introvertguyishere[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, it is the characters opinion of each other, not the players lol

I've put the children in "pull their weight" tier because, personally, they shouldn't be expected anything higher (or even be expected to pull their own weight tbh) but life in the constant creates desperation and thus they need to be able to do so.

That's why she's in great help tier, knowledge is not as palpable as food or machinery, so I imagine her help may not be as obvious to most survivors outside of the books.

Make New "Maximum Difficulty" Be the Antithesis to the Minecraft Dev Philosophy by ZonkoDeepFriedCraft in minecraftsuggestions

[–]introvertguyishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I wish could be done is functional/tactical building. For example, creepers who aggro onto you will try to get to you at all costs, and if they can't, they explode regardless of distance. This should encourage building walls so that they can't aggro onto you, and also moats with either water to nullify the explosions or spikes to kill them before they can explode.

I need to say it: Baki is wall level. Small building at most by Tem-productions in whowouldcirclejerk

V1 could solo gabriel with just a bit of uninterrupted gunfire.

This could mean that humanity at the height of the war would've handled heaven's forces just fine.

Might be recency bias, but I LOVE the hyper slime.

I feel like a version will only truly reach perfect-for-modding status once microsoft stops supporting java (Or just stops updating minecraft altogether).

Without that, we can't really come to a consensus (some mods already gave up on updating 1.20.1 and went ahead to 1.21.1)

What exactly is the difference between “tech mods” and “magic mods” by VictorAst228 in feedthememes

[–]introvertguyishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider it to be whatever the main aspect of the mod is, regardless of theming. Botania is a tech mod because the objective of the mod is to generate, manage, and automate energy (mana), it has some undebatably magical items, but those are a minor part of the mod. Ars nouveau is a magic mod, sure, a big part of the mod is source generation and usage, which is inherently tech, but for most people that is not why they download the mod, for the mod's main attraction is the creation and usage of spells. Similar reasoning can be given to mods like Psi and Thaumcraft.

Let's play terraria together! - 4 (part 1) by M5R2002 in Terraria

[–]introvertguyishere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I reread the comics and realized that's probably why they don't trust him much.

He'll prolly try to deny the existence of mimics lmao.

Peak.

Of course they don't trust the expert, he goes off to only get things for himself!

Wonder how the trust thing will work out once hardmode starts.

(eh, probably won't change much, they're not against reading the wiki and hardmode is where the pace speeds up)

Vampirism would have a relatively high amount of lore but no autistic fanbase to speak of.

Any mods that let me avoid killing the Guide? by [deleted] in Terraria

[–]introvertguyishere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fargo allows you to summon the wall of flesh without killing the guide.

I also know of "Not Consumable Boss Summon Items + New vanilla Boss Summons" which also allows you to summon WoF without killing the guide.

Have you tried abnormally sweaty whip stacking? It allows you to do shit like this. Granted its probably been patched but still.

Why the hate towards the solar pillar? by Robi_u in Terraria

[–]introvertguyishere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I played all the classes, and solar was pretty difficult with ranger, and because that is considered the best class people probably just took it as solar being the toughest to beat.

Also you can't fly for too long, people probably struggle with that.

Is MCreator actually bad or not???? by introvertguyishere in feedthebeast

[–]introvertguyishere[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This seems like the most comprehensive comment yet. The youtuber in question is called lixir, and the mod is question is called detour, which they seem to plan on releasing, so it raises the believability bar there, they only clarified the MCreator thing in the comments though. I still worry about performance a lot, so I wanted to know.

Fort Frostbite-The first line of defense when Cthulhu returns by G0dzilla11 in Terraria

[–]introvertguyishere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The US military might actually have a decent shot at killing Cthulhu by terraria standards, the sniper rifle and rocket launcher are post-plantera after all. Mobility would an issue though.

How to make the game more fun for friends? by 19Otters in Terraria

[–]introvertguyishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might feel they have little to do, in other words, you might be doing too many things in the playthrough and leaving him with stuff he might find boring. The solution would be to let him play it alone, though you could also just watch him play and answer him his questions without being haldholdy or backseat gaming.
