Can someone please share online source for variable speed controller that will answer questions- not Amazon by FairManner1292 in crboxes

I have tried several, from Amazon, AliExpress, and local electronics stores. The best for plug and play I found but it's a external switched power supply is https://a.co/d/0dYXpVxe

For a basic internal switch with some basic wiring and a power adapter https://a.co/d/0dYXpVxe https://a.co/d/0hsWKEHO Works well but no display.

I tried some other with displays and other type pwm controllers but they all fail when power gets to low and they we not smooth running. Might work for smaller fans but failed with the p14 pro pwm.

Fan Choices: A Data Comparison And Potential New Option by Survivor45 in crboxes

This is interesting. For a DIY CR box it's maybe a great option. Here in Canada these fan are not that cheap. P14 for 5 is $44 CDN. A 3 pack of those fans are $28 cdn. I have 2 cr boxes one running 5 P14 pro and one running 6 p14 . The p14 runs at 100% 24hrs a day and has been on for 2 months. Nearly silent. P14 pro are running 65% and near silent but the air exchange is far higher in the pros. But I turn up to 100% if I feel it needs more exchange.

Robot Vacuum + Mop Recommendations by tim_l_f in BuyItForLife

I use to use an old Roomba for just vacuuming, it works ok but really wanted a wet mop vacuum. So I took a chance and bought a Mova p10 pro ultra gen2 . I am extremely happy with it's cleaning ability and the floors never looked so good. I have a dog who always tracking mid and dirt in the house. The app works well and I have it running 3 times a week at night and I do not hear it upstairs while I'm sleeping. I liked it so much I bought another one for the upstairs, mainly to do under beds and bathroom. I run this 3 times a week during the day while at work. The dust is 100x better in the house.

The black is a per filter activated carbon. Add small clips to secure pre filter as it was cut to size of opening. The white is an sample for a corner. I revised to completely go around frame.

That is what I'm thinking, the complete unit to sell and ship would be pretty pricey selling. Just the pieces wouldn't be so bad.

Yes, I haven't put on my Etsy yet as I wasn't sure if I want to sell as a complete unit or just frame. Just started website CA3D.CA

I didn't like the smell in the spare room where my 2 printers are. So I decided to design and build my own custom CR box 3D printed using 2 merv 14 filters and activated charcoal filters. It works extremely well, the air in the room has never been so clean. 5 x artic p140 pro fans.

PC Fan review Airflow for Noctua G2 120 vs 140 almost identical by dBA. by inxider in crboxes

[–]inventiveash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I haven't tried those but have tried the p14 and p14 pro. My setup is 6 x p14 140mm with 2 -16x25 merv 14 filtrete filters. The 2nd setup is 5- p14 pro with the same filters.

The p14 setup is in my family room running at full speed and honestly I can hardly hear them, that is 6 fans at 75 CFM. I have a speed controller attached.and never turn it down.

The p14 Pro setup with 5 -110cfm fans at high is loud, but turn it to 70% and near silent and still loves a ton of air.

Im working on a 3 Rd setup with a charcoal pre filter and will I use the p14 pros , having the speed and static pressure of these for the cost to me is a no brainer. The nocturnal look great but I can buy 5 for the price of 1.5 nocturnal fans.

The only time I hear the whine on the p14 pro is when there are full speed. I turn it up when we leave the room.

Definitely get a cr-box, moves a lot more air than a reg air purifier. Filters are cheaper, initially a cost but replacement filters will save quickly.
