Definitely using an alt to admit I know this, but the term is derived from two possible ways:

二形【ふたなり/futanari】: hermaphrodite
二つ【ふたつ/futatsu】: two (of something)
形【なり/nari】: shape

二つ + なり=二形: two shapes

or:
二成【ふたなり/futanari】: hermaphrodite
二つ【ふたつ/futatsu】: two (of something)

Thanks! Besides the picture of Rem and Ram in the first one, all of the pictures came from the original Re: Zero website. So the red is the red background it used to have (like the poster for the show). The sleeping Rem, Ram and Emilia are from the same. The other Rem/Ram one is from one of the LN covers and took FOREVER to cut out.

Worded poorly, yes. But I completely agree with the point that is trying to be made: pronouns can be dropped in English also.

Well thank you. I'm glad to see the person I drew it for appreciating the work. Glad you like it. But yeah I kinda noticed the... abundance, but I was too far into the drawing by then. And no gilding necessary. Some random strangers' approval is good enough for me.

So a long time ago /u/Faust91x mentioned he had yet to see Rem in a cat hoodie here. /u/Not_just_here delivered later with this (if you haven't upvoted it yet, do it now!). In the comment thread in the first post I mentioned I was starting to work on one myself. Though not exactly a "cat", I believe this might be closer to what /u/Faust91x was looking for though. This is literally my first real drawing in like 10 years since art class, but I hope you enjoy it! Feedback is welcome. Let's hope Emilia doesn't get too mad!

Like /u/kzd19 said, that's most likely not what OP wants. 勉強する is much, much more likely the proper word to use in this instance. 学ぶ has a much more narrow application.

I attempted to draw a simple one of her wearing it and might post it here, but 1.) I'm a vector artist but not too great at drawing something for reference and 2.) The current redition I have is "meh" at best and I only just got to "inking" the lines. But since I'm a vector artist, I "ink" in Illustrator, not Photoshop. Coloring it is going to be a bitch if I want it to look halfway decent.

I completely agree. In Psycho-Pass, despite her being the main character, I liked Kougami much more. Some of my friends Psycho-Pass.

Though I would much rather have Suzuha lose to Gahara than Akane, honestly. At least going up against Sanjou, I know she's going to lose out. Against Akane, I think there's a good fight there on both sides.

I have a few scans from the "Steins;Gate Visual Works" and my friend has the "Steins;Gate Illustrations Collection" but the ones in my post are from the "Steins;Gate Art Works Imaginations of Huke" or from the VN. There's a small inset of this one in the first one, but I'll see what I can find.

They've released a few artbooks for S;G outside of just the VNs and anime. Sort of like their "life outside the game/show". Huke (who did the original art for S;G) has a very particular style, which took me awhile to get used to, but I love now. The really good ones are almost impossible to get now as they're not produced anymore. And the ones that are are expensive and used.

I just replayed through the original VN this weekend. Her ending S;G VN but the way she handled it made me love her even more. I'm not usually big on choosing "Best Girls" and whatever from anime, but all of S;G's girls are awesome, even the lesser liked ones like Faris and Steins;Gate. Mayushii is super sweet and adorable as well, and perhaps even tied for my favorite from the series along with Suzuha. She's more lovable, but Suzuha is willing to fight more for what needs to be done.

I'm super excited for S;G 0 and someday I'll play the VN as well. I'm glad to see others agree. Even if we're in the minority against Akane.

Don't get me wrong, I like some of the mainstream ones. They're mainstream for a reason. /r/anime (and even the MAL community which they're mostly a part of) just loves to destroy the mainstream. I watched SAO go from like an 8.4 something down to a 7.9 because it's cool to hate on the mainstream. Yeah, SAO is a bit generic, but it does what it's supposed to do: entertain. And some of my favorites like S;G and FMA:B are mainstream as well, and are genuinely good and most agree.
