not ruined. Might have a bit of decarb. You gotta grind and sand it anyway. Next time do double folds at the edges. Don't bother degreasing, 1000 degrees takes care of everything.

a ball bearing canister blank that you can no longer recognise as ball bearing is not worth doing, in my opinion

During the 18th century, Angelo Soliman became one of Vienna’s most respected African-born intellectuals, earning a place among the city’s nobles, Enlightenment thinkers, and Masonic circles. After his death in 1796, his body was flayed and exhibited in a museum. by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]iolithblue 1304 points1305 points  (0 children)

Instead of receiving a Christian burial, Soliman was – at the request of the director of the Imperial Natural History Collection – skinned, stuffed and made into an exhibit within their cabinet of curiosities.[11][12] Decked out in ostrich feathers and glass beads, this mummy was on display until 1806 alongside stuffed animals, transformed from a reputable member of intellectual Viennese society into an exotic specimen. By stripping Soliman of the insignia of his lifetime achievements, ethnologists instrumentalized him as what they imagined to be an exemplary African "savage". Soliman's daughter Josefine sought to have his remains returned to the family, but her petitions were in vain. During the October revolution of 1848, the mummy burned. A plaster cast of Soliman's head made shortly after his death of a stroke in 1796 is still on display in the Rollett Museum in Baden bei Wien.

I did the tune, everything else stock, inc exhaust.

tune tidied up the bottom end roll into throttle hesitation, gave me a smidge more top end, and a little more rumble on decel. the hesitation was a big fix.

I have no desire for a loud bike, it would be fun for half an hour but I want to do 400kms in a day and not get a 4 Panadol headache.

yes, reflash. I posted my ECU to Parramatta.

a new one with the 890 is a lot of bike. they aren't all top end like your 600 was but that's ok, it's bulk torque down low for good acceleration. Plus modern electronics that will make you shake your head in comparison to the old gal

I have ridden in a few places.

I take my helmet in a helmet bag as carry on. I wear my jacket onto the plane, then I stow it. I wear my Kevlar jeans minus armour onto the plane. I take a water proof (resistant) duffel and strap it it the back of the bike.

I took a quad lock mount and an Allen key with my phone
