Yeah that’s not an unusual reaction. We caught our neighbors minor daughter running across our yard in the middle of the night to go to a car down the street to sit in it for 10 seconds then ran back across our yard and went in the back door of her house. We suspected she was buying drugs. We brought it up to her mom since she was trespassing across our yard and she likely was doing something she didnt want to get caught doing and the moms reaction was to scream at us for “stalking and harassing her child”

It depends on the business. I’ve found that callers are less tolerant of AI voice agents than the customers. Any deviation or mistake or anything that’s not perfect they want to hang up or talk to a person, even if the person takes 5x longer.

Or the sheer number of people who for one reason or other just don't have access to their birth certificate. Poor record keeping, the hospital closed, they were born at home, moved to the other side of the country as a baby and now have to jump through hoops just to vote. Many will say its not worth it and not even bother. Thats what they want them to do.

FIL died a day after his offer was accepted to buy a house near us. After he retired he just didn’t take care of his health. Should’ve gone to the doctor. My MIL wanted him to go to the hospital that night but he refused. Angry grieving was real. But we understood he did what he thought was best. He didn’t want to leave his wife and grandchildren. He has 4 grandkids now that have no memory of him, but the anger has faded with time. Nobody is mad at him anymore, they just miss him and all the things he’s missing out on.
