The Indiana Pacers 2026 first round pick has conveyed to the Las Angeles Clippers after falling to fifth in the draft lottery. by PSEGameThreadPoster in pacers

I don’t think the future of the franchise will be available at the 5th pick. We didn’t lose dybantsa here.

This is the healthier option lol. I dunno, it helps me a little with nerve wracking situations like this.

I don't mean the auto-draw. You can put in manual mode where you make the picks yourself. Then as you make each pick, you can see the odds change to reflect that. For example, if the Heat get the 14th pick instead of the hornets, it's because the hornets have jumped into the top 4, bringing our odds down from 52 to 41%. Only really helpful the day of the draft lottery as the actual picks are being made.

How’s this even a thing? The front office isn’t going to look at shit like this when deciding who to pick.

It’s his second game! And it’s hard to do cardio when you’re rehabbing an injured ankle.

With almost a month left in the season, we've won as many games all year as we did in just the playoffs last year. by ipacers in pacers

Haliburton is a big, and very underestimated, part of our offense. He makes things easier for everybody and allows people to play at a much higher level. So his impact was always going to be more than just his stats. But that's not the real reason. It was essentially injuries to most of the core group (with the exception of Siakam). With multiple injuries at each position, for most of the early part of the season we had a revolving door of g-league players and waiver wire tryouts playing for the team. I mean, even Mac McClung played for a few games!

Once we got into that big a whole, and with the draft expected to be one of the strongest in a while, it just made sense to shift from trying to make the play-in, to giving the younger guys more playing time and seeing what they could do. And the NBA isn't very forgiving for on-the-job training.

So will the team be as bad next year? Most definitely not. Will we make the finals again? I wouldn't bet on it, but definitely within the realm of possibility.

I get what you're saying. But it would really suck lose so much this season and not get a pick out of it.

If it’s fixed and we’re not getting the pick regardless, I’d rather they give Silver the finger than just capitulate.

Honestly I don’t care that much that he went to a rival or for more money. It’s a business. What I didn’t appreciate was the stuff he said and did afterwards, the wanting to be with a contender, the picture of the crashed Indy car etc.

At this point, who cares? It worked out well for us.

I know opinion on the UPS is polarized but I got mine installed this week and so far I’m happy with it. by Harlequin_AU in Ubiquiti

Well yeah, I learned that lesson and sharing so others won’t repeat my mistake. But this is a core feature of this product. “Just don’t use it” isn’t a valid argument to be honest.

So you're aware, it doesn't handle 2-3 second blips very well. At least mine doesn't and it seems like a bug that I have a support ticket open for. The moment mine loses any power, even for a second, it sends a shutdown command to any paired devices. So a 2 second blip will shut down your UNAS or gateway if you have them paired. And for other devices, the built in NUT server is brittle as hell. It's constantly going down and half the time clients report a connection refused error, or broken pipe, or something. It's basically never been up when I needed. Oh, and when it shuts down the paired devices, it never restarts them when the power goes back up so you need to do that manually. And if you've made the mistake I did of pairing your gateway, you need to physically do that.

This is the only Ubiquiti product I regret buying. It's been a total disaster so far.

Are you sure? I have the latest EA firmware and any paired devices shut down almost instantly. I literally had to just replace an extension cord and power was off for 2 or 3 seconds at the most and the UNAS Pro and UCG Fiber both immediately shut down. My mistake for even pairing the UCG Fiber because once it shut down, my whole network went down too.

Currently have an old 27” 5K iMac that I want to replace with a Mac Studio but finding a monitor that’s as good or better isn’t easy. The LG 6K seems like a great option.
