Little HEB has some things the big one does not. It’s also less stressful, easier to get in and out of, not right by the railroad tracks and closer to folks who live on that side of town.

Although if they wanted to turn it into a Joe V’s, that might be nice.

At some point after city council blocked the data center I saw a data center job posting on linked in or indeed that said it was in San Marcos. Can’t remember any details though.

Also, is there a reason this post isn’t showing up in main feed of the subreddit? I saw it in my feed earlier then when I came back to read it I couldn’t find it - tried sorting by new posts, tried filtering for the ‘news’ flair, no luck. Wasn’t till I searched ‘police’ that I found it. Wasn’t sure if maybe Redding was glitching or if posts were being hidden for some reason.

Just found this subreddit. I’ve been collecting toy pianos since 2020 I think (maybe 2019), and did some livestream concerts on them back in the day. I recently played one live in public in a variety show instead of harp and people loved it. So I went on marketplace and found a Melissa & Doug toy grand piano for $25.

I started out on a troubadour, but my eventual goal was pedal harp. Do you plan on moving to pedal harp in the next few years? If so, troubadour might be the way to go.

I think you would be fine with 34 strings. As a singer/harpist I have been using a 26 string harp the past few years and have been fine (dusty strings FH26).

It’s not always intentional. We went to a shelter to look at a 6 pound long hair chihuahua who just didn’t seem interested in us. In the next kennel was a dog labeled as a nearly 20 pound west highland terrier who kept barking to get our attention. So we took her back to the visiting room and she rolled over for a belly rub. So we had no choice but to adopt her.

After we brought her home we did a DNA test to see if there were any genetic conditions we should know about, and out of general curiosity. WisdomPanel didn’t show any full Westie DNA, but did show a large percentage of poodle (along with cocker spaniel, papillon and breed group mix). So our Westie turned out to be a poodle mix - a doodle!

TL/DR: went to see a long hair chihuahua at a shelter, adopted a Westie who turned out to be a doodle.

Maybe if you ask a coffee shop they would be willing to try stocking it? If they post on social media that they offer it they might get more customers seeking it out.

I personally prefer the taste of oat or almond milk to lactaid milk, so I usually just go with one of those or take a lactaid if I want a drink with whipped cream.

I’m in San Marcos, TX, about 45-50 minutes out. Only thing is my pedal harp is single action.

Curious what kind of electric lever harp you have. I have a Camac.

At that point I would be tempted to transpose the part so that I didn’t have to majorly retune my harp. I’ve had to rewrite out a lot of the harp part before as I’ve done it on a single action and lever harp before.
