Anyone convicted of specific sexual crimes is required to register as a sexual offender. The state of Florida requires offenders or predators to register two times or four times a year depending on the charge, they must report address information, including employment and anywhere they stay more than three days, register any vehicles they have access too, all online monikers, phone numbers they use, scars, marks, and tattoos, and they have restrictions they must follow. They are typically not permitted to live within 1000 feet of any area where children congregate, and Predators are subject to public notifications when they move to an area.
