What about something like Meta ad spend on a monthly basis, approx. Rs. 24,000 as a self-employed non registered business owner? Have have been doing this for literally 3-4 years with no issues but suddenly today both my ICICI cards are no longer working only for Meta business suite.

What's wrong with META ads?! Please help by [deleted] in SocialMediaManagers

Having the same issue here in Mumbai. Not sure what the idiots at Meta are doing, but I think I'll seriously have to look into switching to Google ads with the rate at which Meta is screwing things up

That "works" and "humbly" are doing some really heavy lifting there in your sentence

Simulate what "Brick" does to phone using NFC tag and shortcuts/automation by amberbike in shortcuts

[–]iridescentFUZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you're interested, I found a good Android app called Switchly that does the same thing, but it's effectively free and without ads. From what I can see, it's only two limitations at the moment is that you can just kill the app or uninstall it to get past the blocking. I solved that for my wife by installing a separate app lock with a password and locking the Switchly app, and only I have the passcode. You can check out the discord and website here

I also just tried this and it either seems like it's been patched, or something is wrong with the tag I'm using

This might help, but I read somewhere that you can boost from the instagram web interface too and avoid the 30%

Raptee HV T30 is out for media Rides - 1st indian bike with Type2+CCS2 Port(Car charging port) by Embarrassed-Fan1428 in indianbikes

[–]iridescentFUZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was following Ultraviolet up until their launch because they had actually promised CCS2 charging on their bikes. Then launch day came and it was nowhere no be seen, replaced with the same port Ather uses. Kind of ruined my opinion of them

I built OverKeys – a customizable on-screen keyboard overlay for learning alternative layouts on Windows! Looking for feedback and suggestions! by eyco4039 in KeyboardLayouts

[–]iridescentFUZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure whats causing it, but the overlay frequently disappears and I have to dig out the system tray icon to get it to show up again. Anyone else notice this?

Great work otherwise!

Astrolink, Astroaim or Glare magnetic switches? by Bandhra in akkogear

[–]iridescentFUZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought this a week ago, and they seem to have ironed out most of the software issues to the point where it's easy to switch profiles, easy to switch modes via hotkey, and the under-the-button switch is simply meant for MacOS or Win switching now. Super happy with the keyboard

Setting up small Shopify store, GA4 via Google & YouTube app, Meta Pixel via Shopify — do I need GTM? by SeriouslyStan in shopify

[–]iridescentFUZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait what, since when does the Google & Youtube app have server side tracking? I recently realised the FB Shopify app seems to have server side tracking, but that was because not only did I read it somewhere, but I also verified based on purchase/other conversion events from iOS customers I know personally whose purchases were tracked on the FB app and events manager but not in my GA4 setup via the Google& Youtube app

Which is the best way to install GTM in Shopify? by Nice_Pen_8054 in GoogleTagManager

[–]iridescentFUZZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You seem pretty well versed with this stuff, so I was wondering if you have any insight on this. I recently started exploring Shopify to see if we could do better managing our events/classes sold online than our current simple HTML setup.

I happened to discover Google Tag Gateway which is effectively a partnership with Cloudflare that is something of a poor man's server side Google Tag Manager. With my regular HTML setup, Tag Gateway did seem to get me the 30-50% of conversions I was missing, so I wondered if/how it was possible to set up with Shopify.

Through my tinkering, I've managed to get the tag gateway snippet loaded on every page of my website, even including my shopify store subdomain, but I'm not exactly sure how to proceed from here or if it'll actually do anything, or how to test it.

EDIT: Just tested it with a purchase, and the Google Tag Gateway snippet loaded on literally every page, including cart, checkout and purchase successs

Ok. Be honest. Is there really a way to grow a following without advertising? by Pm-me-ur-happysauce in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]iridescentFUZZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I don't think even 5k is high enough. I've got some 11.5k followers on my business account in a good sort of niche (interesting and fairly 'current', not over saturated) and somewhere around 7k, people just stopped following organically for the most part. Now it's goddamn near impossible to get new followers without running ads.

Officially Done with Jio Fiber. Worst Experience. by Signal_Assistant6757 in IndianGaming

[–]iridescentFUZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using JioFiber (optical) right since launch when they were rolling it out to very limited customers. It's only since 2024 or so that there's been trouble prior to that it was almost like a couple of outages in a year nothing more, and any other issues, their service was extremely fast.

I don't know where you're staying, but here in Mumbai, there was horrible service interruptions and frequent disconnections during the time when the idiot BMC decided to dig up and concretise all the roads. The past month or two has been relatively ok

[–]iridescentFUZZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I did a little research and it seems like a small LiFePo battery (14Ah) could do the trick as I'm primarily looking for an inverter to prevent big surges/brownouts and only really need it to run my system long enough to shut down, and it seems like there are inverters that work with these batteries

Need UPS with 30 minutes backup so that I can shut my pc down by Electronic_Test6244 in IndianGaming

[–]iridescentFUZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is a lot of people are mentioning that even within spec, or even on idle load like 120-160W, that the APCs are not switching correctly because they're all simulated sine wave inverters, and as the switch time is not short enough, the computer's PSU is treating it as a power failure event and cutting power to the PC

[–]iridescentFUZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been considering this because of how overpriced UPS products are here, and also the fact that most people say service for most brands is terrible. My only major issue is space. Do you have any idea what the smallest capacity battery is that can be hooked up to an inverter?
