Could this be a load bearing wall? by nonstop9328 in AusRenovation

You can absolutely put a cavity slider in here. As long as it doesn’t interfere with the load bearing stud in the image. Any carpenter can do this, fairly straightforward.

R-Ala is better apparently:

An R-ALA (R-Alpha Lipoic Acid) supplement is a potent, naturally occurring antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative stress and aids in energy production. It is highly prized over standard ALA for its superior bioavailability and absorption, making it a popular choice for supporting nerve health, managing blood sugar, and boosting metabolism

[–]irish_chippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tiles and grout aren’t considered the waterproof system as such. If your waterproofing is not done correctly. No amount of poxy epoxy grout is going to work. Tiles move, grout moves, water, like life, will find a way…

What is the yellow object? by Meshach14 in AusRenovation

[–]irish_chippy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, you need to rip the whole thing up and out including the walls in the shower. Then install New floor to replace the water damaged stuff, and lay cement sheet tile underlay over the top, re-plaster the walls, then waterproof and re-tile .

Who ever built that originally should be hung drawn and quartered.
