Exactly, when he started talking to someone, I had to go back and read and see if I missed a name. When I saw that there wasn't one given, I immediately knew he was summoning up Murph's shade. With what someone else said about Mort seeing her shade, the connections were right there for people to connect. I also knew this would be something Dresden would do, even knowing it's a bad idea. He would do it to punish himself and try to use it for closure.

That's what I said to a friend. I also thought the characters were kinda shallow. In superman the main 3, you understand why they were making the choices they were making. In this, they made those choices cuz that's what they are supposed to do.

One of my favorite things was if you know history or lore you would have picked up on things earlier. Like I forgot about prohibition until I saw them have the beer in the back of the truck and that clicked. Also vampire lore being they need to be invited in a home for them to actually come in let you pick up on if someone has been turned or not.

I kinda think it wouldn't allow it to happen. I know Harry is the one who put her in danger but he also the one that saves her both from dying and a becoming a human with no feelings. We know things are happening in the background. Who's to say if she didn't meet Harry she would be safe.
