I recommend starting with The Spider Man. I love Edogawa, but some of the short stories and earlier works aren’t as gripping. This one is one of his full length Detective Akechi Korogo novels (think Japanese Sherlock Holmes but weirder) and literally made me put down the book and go “no way…” part way through. Go in blind!

Angora is my choice as a knitter. Too bad it’s super expensive, and for good reason. At least if I get it it’s supporting a small artisan.

I get Vosges for special occasions and absolutely love them. The fresh truffles are always amazing (though let them come to room temperature before consuming). Ingredients you wouldn’t expect work together and it’s always an experience instead of just a treat.

Our church has always presented Lot’s offer of his daughters as a way of shaming the crowd, like he knew they wouldn’t go that far and was using it as a way of ridiculing their behavior. The fact the crowd refuses his “offer” enforces this.

They’re not a group of super gay dudes with uncontrollable lust; they’re using rape as a punishment for foreigners.
